So im thinking about going to school in durango next year and was just wondering how the park is looking this year at purgatory. Also is it worth it to get a pass at wolf creek pass or just to stick with durango mountain resort.

the park was the best its ever been this year, its been getting better too.

heres a edit that shows purg, all the park features are at purg

we had 7+ rails

jumps this year:

2 20"s

1 35"

1 45"

1 55"

and a few small ones

i woulnt get a pass for WC just because its about 2 hours away and the only time i see fit going is on powderdays,

PM me if you have any more questions

purgs park isnt the and tickets are only 30 bucks. greatest and it takes them a long time to get it up. i probably wouldnt

get a pass to WC just because you wont really have anyone to go with.

the only time people really go is on college days which are usually

sundays i think

Thanks for the info guys. What about handrails around town? Is there enough snow ever in town for that and are there any good ones aka nice down rails with maybe a few kinks and an in run that is straight? I know there are a few boxes at chapman hill but what about hesperus is there anything worthwhile there? Im just trying to get a feel for what kind of stuff is around town. Thanks

you have to know where to look. im not much of a rail person so i dont know about all of them. i know of 2 at the fort and 5 or 6 in town. theirs defiantly enough snow a few times throughout the season. again, i would say hesperus is kinda out of the way. last season we had a flat down and a s rail at chapman. i spent most of my career there trying to convince my boss to buy some more. hopefully this coming season were gonna have a wall ride, battleship and down hand rail added to the colection.

I hope you do. I visit my sister at the Fort and go ski.
When I went to purg this year I had such a good time. The park was relatively empty and pretty sick
