i need pants that wont fall apart. my special blends were perfect until the crotch ripped down the leg. idk what i do, i guess i have an abusive wiener or something, but all my pants die on me. anyone have good brands?

also, is burton ak legit? durability?

i heard Saga is legit when it comes down to durability but if you dont have the money i have some bon fires to that are really durable and have disappointed me

burton makes shit clothing. i've never had anything part of the ak line, but i'm going to assume that it's not that different from the rest of their product. i'd say steer clear of it. For good quality, look at companies that have been around for a while and are performance based, like north face, arcteryx, orage. Personally i think patagonia has the most bombproof shit out there. but they're pretty backcountry based.

Both of my brothers board and use outerwear from the Burton AK line and they love the stuff. It's kept them dry and comfortable every time, it's definitely durable. I have used sessions pants for the past 6 years and swear by them. I just got some Sessions Rocket pants from backcountry.com for 140, originally 280, and they are two layer gore-tex, stylie baggy fit and they fit comfortably over a knee brace. I suggest you check them out.

Burton Ronin line. Amazing pants had spme hefty crashes (including biting my own knee) and didnt rip the pants at all even tho i needed 5 stiches in my knee haha.

thats what I thought too, until my H/Hs ripped, still love them though great pants and a great company. To be fair the ripped when I ate it skiing a tight tree line.

I've had my salomon gangsters for two seasons now and they're still like new. Normal wear on the cuffs and all but I've beat the shit out of them and they've held up great.

Volcom is definately worth the money. Have used my setup for 3 seasons straight and still looks brand new.

sessions.

also, there is a pretty big difference between my brothers 5k/5,000 DC pants and my 15k/10,000 Sessions pants. quality costs, but quality pays.

check out some sessions. my Vortex pants feel noticeably more durable then most snowpants i have encountered.

or you could pick up a fewpairs from tramdock and brociety for around $50 dollars each, and when one pair gives out, just break out another pair.
