Durable Cell Phones-Verizion

I have cingular now but will most likely be changing to verizion by the end of the year. I mainly care if it is durable and easy to use. I text way too much so that should be good in a phone. Let me know what phones are good.

Oh and has anyone heard of the Casio phones that are supposable waterproof and whatnot?
 
well thats 0 for 3 on the advice for verizion phones. im not looking for another type of provider cause most everyone has verizion here
 
usually the ones that aren't like crazy and expensive are most durable. my friend has the VX8300 i think it is and she drops that shit like crazy, it gets beat to say the least and it is still in good condition..
 
dont get a slvr. they suck, one drop and the screen was smashed. get one of their brick phones. there the most durable.
 
Ive always had LG verizon phones.. they are always durable.. currently i have a chocolate.. its pretty solid.
 
second on the LG. i have en enV and have dropped it on tile and concrete multiple times. suffered some scratches but no problems with performance. also, the battery lasts a long time
 
idk i had a vx6180 or somthing, and i lost it @ my home mountain in january, the snow melted, somone found it and charged and called the 'home' number and i got it back and used it.. haha so LG's definatelly good in my book.
 
My friend has the Casio phone I think you are talking about, it's water resistant up to 3m for 30min, shock resistant, and dust resistant. It's gonna be teh next phone I get whenever my KRZR happens to die.
 
haha thats funny, i was at the verizon store getting my phone fixed today and my dad asked the technician dude what the most durable phone was. he didn't give a specific model but he said that LG and Samsung phones are your best bet.

i have this and i love it. haven't really used the mp3 aspect of it, but it would be cool if i ever got around to it. i huck it on a daily basis, drop it, etc etc put it through hell. i'd recommend it for sure.

for verizon, by samsung.
 
dont get the family plan LG. im on my 4th, my sister is on her 6 or 7th. whereas my parents are still o their first. we both have had tons of tech issues that they cant solve so they just send us a new one
 
I love LG phones...they never break...i got the LG 8350 with my plan and it is a super sick durable phone if you just want a standard flip phone.
 
the only 2 phones ive had are the free Lg ones that verizon gives you when you get the plan. its a basic phone and i beat the shit out of them, but both still work. i throw my phone and drop it like crazy, still works. from my expirience, lg is good and durable
 
this isn't answering your thread but i lost my chocolate like two weeks ago so i hade to get one of their low end ones it is okay but not the chocolate.
 
I never had any problems with the RAZR, the Chocolate was a pretty solid phone except it would randomnly call the last person I talked to on the phone or the first person on my contacts list...it was pretty strange, I have the Samsung u740 that flips both ways, and its been great so far, solid all the way around, I'm looking at getting the LG Voyager or the Motorola Q9m at the moment....kind of torn between the two
 
i hav the phone you want: its the Gzone wateresist shock resist 2.0 mega pixel camera Casion phone. I have the lower grade one but it was free with my plan so it was sweet. You can get the better one for 150 bucks more on the plan but its silly. This one is def good enough. I have dropped it from 2 stories onto concrete carpet and it was fine. Get it now

"Durable" "cell phone"? I've never heard those words spoken in the same sentence before...
 
Nonsense, I was opening beers with my slvr last night. I've straight up dropped it in water, about 15 feet to concrete, and more. The phone takes whatever you dish out. I think I reviewed it
 
Verizon is the service, not the phone. They have a pretty damn good service though.

If your looking for a bombproof phone get an LG. They are built like tanks. You can beat the shit out of it and it will still run. Plus they conserve more battery than pretty much any other phone out on the market.

 
yeah i had a razr, then last march it stoppped working, then this july it broke, then i got a replacement which broke a week later, then i couldnt get service with the replacement of the replacement, so im on an LG now finally

it looks like it's down to a LG or Samsung phone. any phone models that are better than the others but still under like 130? im considering getting the vx8300.
 
im not really sure but arent some of the phones on verionwireless.com "ruggedized"? and does anyone know if this phones legit, i might be getting it
 
same thing happened to me but i lost my phone at a gas station and it stayed in a snow drift for the whole winter and some one called my house and returned it..
 
I've got the PN-820 Smartphone from Verizon/Pantech. It's a clamshell style smartphone, which is built like a tank and organizes all my shit. The outside is scratched and beat to hell, but the inside screen and everything are good as new. Dope phone if you need the smartphone capabilities, it's the only flip smartphone out there at the moment.
 
i lost my lg phone in the snow too and it melted and rained and i found it and it stilll worked like a champ
 
yeah some one i know has this casio thats waterproof and like bombproof. it can b under water and b dropped like 20 ft with out breaking. the only problem is its fucking huge. like its probally and inch and a half thick. but if duriblitly is whatca want, thats ur phone
 
go with LG, but if you text a lot you need to go into the store and try out the phones, because all the phones have different sized buttons and some are really hard to text on if you have super manly burly hands like myself do
 
she knows whats up, mine broke the week i got it then replacement broke a month later and my last replacement that i get just broke, sick phone
 
I picked up an env not too long ago. It's sick. I usually go through phones like crazy but this ones holding up. I've gotten it wet, dropped it a few times, thrown it, and it's still pretty solid.
 
First off, it's VERIZON, not VERIZION...GOT THAT CHIEF? Second, Casio makes a sick phone called the "G'Z One" It has a bumper on the phone that absorbs all of the shock. My friends dad has one and held it underwater for 15 minutes in a hottub. nothing wrong whatsoever. He's also thrown it at walls. Absolutely fine. Best bet for a durable phone.
 
for verizon you can't go wrong getting an LG phone. They're mad durable, i've never had one break on me and it's all i've used. i have the vx8700 (shiny silver one) and it's super solid i don't think its possible to break it. but yea listen to waht other people have said about DON'T GET A RAZR! LG is the way to go.
 
I have the EnV and its pretty damn durable....ive dropped it numerous times thinking that it would break, but only gets a scratch or to. Although it is like dropping a brick.
 
i had an a 850 or something. had it for two years put it throught the wash, dropped it out the second floor window, and just thew it around when I was drunk. think still worked fine.
