durability of arv?

I may have found a good deal on last years Armada ARV. Im just worried about their durability. I just seems like I've heard about a lot of delam issues. I wont be using them for rails though I have another set of skis for that. Just tell me what all you guys think.

they should be fine. they really only had problems in the park last year, but if you're just doing BC stuff, you should be ok.

what all do you mean for park. I'd like to use them as kind of a ski for everything, in the park except for rails and in the bc.

I'm thinkin about gettin this year's ARV's. I'm 5'10 158 lbs and movin to jackson hole for the winter. I'll ski park when the snows bad and powder when its good. Think I should go with 175 arv? or any other suggestions(I've been skiing 171 1080 for the past 2 years)

Thats what im trying to do too. ski powder when its there and park when theres no new snow. Im 5'10 160lbs and I've always skied some old 177 rossignols. I'm thinking about the arv 175's or the bc 176's. Ive thought about moving up to a 182 bc or 185 arv. what do you guys think?

I am 6'3' and have the new ARV's they are sick. I realllly don't like the red on the 175's. kinda gay. If you think you can handle them and want a lot of float go with the 185's, but otherwise stay in the mid/low 170's to low 180's.

Have you thought about motherships? Mojo's? pistols? ... also other good options.

im 6ft 160lbs, and im having trouble deciding 176 or 182 bc, im mostly going to be riding park, east coast, but make alot of trips out west, and i think im leaning towars 182. I ride 177 cusson 1080's right now.

I have ridden arv 175's and though they were dope! but they did feel alittle small, and a 185 arv in the park is a little big. espically if not a pro star. we need a size inbetween!

unless i can get my hands on a pair of karmas in 177. but until then im pretty sure im shooting for 182 bc. the running surface is like 179cm, and if you mount them on the forward line im sure they'll handle like a shorter ski.

or you could just go balls out and get the 185 arv instead of the 182 bc. sorry for stealing your thread hope i gave some input.....

dude crystal and airheard you are like in the exact same boat as me. and basically the exact same size and weight. ive ridden 174 scratch FS the last two years and i think im going to move up to the 182 BC for this year. thats if i can find it for a decent price cuz they are damn expensive, maybe you should look at the 180 MSPs? ive heard those are a great ski with a great warranty as well.

yeah I like everything I've heard about the 180 MSP but the thing is they are pretty hard to find it seems. I just dont think I can find a pair for a decent price.

My first suggestion is try jibij in Boulder, CO. www.jibij.com and then after that try christy's sports... And ask 'is that the best you can do?' ususally they are pretty flexible.

I dunno about park... I would stay away from rails obviously if you want to keep them nice.. but as for jumps... they should do pretty well... full wood core and a carbon fiber stringer... but I am also 6'3 and will be using them probably strictly for fresh snow and BC. I have shatty mad_trix for park.
