Duncan Adams

He's pointing out that you are an idiot. "Take off switch land switch but never spin." It's a fucking halfpipe.

well you dont call a forward takeoff and landing with no spinning a 180, you call it a straight air, therefore in my mind a zero spin in pipe is take off switch land switch, with only the rotation to land.

and to the kid above, no need to be a douche

I'd also say that i don't enjoy watching halfpipe, just doesn't really appeal to me, but the fluidity of the skiing hes doing in the pipe makes it fun to watch. Like other people have mentioned, reminds me of stefan thomas who kills it and is fun to watch no matter where he skis.

Also...........where's the footy! someones gotta have it

since when is skiing switch in the pipe called "fakie". i'm not saying its wrong, i was just wondering.
technically an air to fakie is still a zero air by definition. His second hit cant be a zero air.. because well, he's travel 180 degrees.

but if you do that forwards, no one calls it a 180, they call it a straight air. thus making the same thing switch a zero IMO

i agree, and he dosent rotate a full 180 if you think about it, unless he landed in the same spot on the pipe wall. so he technically since he travels down the pipe he spins less than 180 to match the landing.

but whatever, you all call it what you want. everyone would understand what a zero would mean. if you said switch 180 thats not what id picture at first for the same reason Ben stated

1. take off forward/regular - land switch - no rotation : AIR TO FAKIE

2. take off switch - land forward regular - no rotation : ZERO SPIN

3. take off switch - land switch - 180° (it is a pipe, you need to turn to land switch again!) : FAKIE AIR or SWITCH 180°

thats true. i like your reasoning. it definitely looks like a zero, but i still think its a switch one. nonetheless, the trick is mad tech. I don't know pipe well enough to what it should or should not be called.

disclaimer......THIS IS NOT HIS X GAMES RUN.....just thought some people might not have seen him in pipe and this is a good example of his style

Hey all you kids arguing about the name of his second hit, In halfpipe, it's called a switch straight air. Or you could just call it awesome :)

I think that is my most favorite pipe run ive ever seen... need more skiers like Duncan!! The sickesttt style!
