Dumpster Diving at the Killington Ski Swap....

so me, my friend, his dad, and my dad were just at the Killington Ski swap (lots of race/carver skis), and we bought some stuff. My dad, being strictly against shaped skis, asks the guy in charge if there are any shaped skis anywhere. The big man says that there are some in a dumpster by the killington race club. So we head on over.

HOLY HELL!

there was so much cool stuff in there! I picked up a pair of some wierd Volkl skis (grey and yellowish, had some silouttes of some ladies with wierd hair on them.) My friend got some line mavericks, and my dad got his precious straight skis. I also got a bunch of old neon race stuff, like shin guards.

My advice to you guys, dumpster dive at ski swaps
 
why is your dad set on straight skis.... has he ever tried shaped skis?? i dunno why anyone would prefer old school straight skis that doesnt make any sense...
 
So all of the stuff is behind the Alpine Training Center above the Killington Base lodge? I might go look at that tomorrow.
 
its up by the gondola, go to the loading place for the gondola, then head up the mountain. theres the killington ski club building about 40 feet away, and the dumpster is on the left side of it, me and my friend kinda cleaned it out though, no more twin tips, but its worth checking out

the yellowish and grey skis made by volkl are (what im guessing) the V-pro, they are a really good ski, i love the pair that i own

A couple weeks at killy I pulled out of a dumpster a pair of teneighty mogul skis, and two pairs of fischer lunar mogul skis, and about 4 pais of poles

Thats sick, you are one lucky guy to find free shit like that, i have dreamed about finding a bunch of free shit in like a dumpster before( like i actually had a dream about finding some armada skis in some dumpster once)
 
ya i saw you, i was wearing a grey and blue polo. The swap sucked but i picked up a sick one piece and some poles for $35.
 
y would they throw skis out at a swap? they could just sell them cheap and make a little money...
 
cause their old and look a little beat up, and theres an edge sticking out at the top right of one of the skis, but other than that, the bases are great and theres no other edge damage
 
i just picked up some flexon pro's for 50 bucks today with an extra brand new liner....oh and some poles for one dollar
