new topsheet. early '07s had a shiney topsheet, later ones had matte, the '08 has a super rough mate.
 
no dude i have this years and last. theres nothing different at all on the top sheet. no shiney no roughy. there the same god damn ski.

 
i saw a pair of shineys in maine. and my '08s have a rougher topsheet than my '07s that were replaced.
 
yea my 07s are like semi matte and i saw dumont riding really matte ones last year. but that doesnt mean the skis different, they change topsheet all the time, even mid season.
 
this was resolved, both are full woodcore. i called salomon and they said they were the same, which should have been the end of it, but some fool said he called them too and they said it was different, of course everyone believed him because im a "nube."
 
i've got dumonts, and i don't care what the core is, they are kickass skis. they are still kickass skis if there is a little bit of foam. cr labs are kickass skis better than ar5s and stls
