Simon should have won hands down. After just speeking to rory will who judged it here is why he won. He went so much bigger than everyone else and was stylie. Sure Jon was smooth but hey thats what you get for doing the exact same run for 3 straight years. IT was a few too many times win. Pete got third because he linked 4 straight spins making it the most tech run of the night his airs were small. And DC got an 89 because he lost his ski. If u still land its not perfect.He would have gotten a 95 but they docked him 5 points for that. Thats what the judges said and i agree

its not like dumont won by 20 points. there was 5.33 points between 5th and 1st. and 2.66 points between 3rd and 1st. so just chill out, your all making it sound like dumont was given 155.45 out of 100. it was close, he won so good on him, salomons 2nd in a row, Cr is due next year.

I want to know who those judges are. Rory who? Silva? If they think someone deserves to lose 5 points for losing a ski on a CORK 10 MUTE and riding it out like it was nothing, then they don't deserve to ever judge a comp again.

 
r u kidding me the reason he lost the ski was cause the trick wasnt that smooth. if he woulda landed it good then he wouldnt have lost the ski. he lost the points for a bad landing not for landing on one ski... think about it it makes sense

 
Candide should have one gold this year for his run last year it was so sick I really missed him this year. Simon did go massive.

Murawski, you couldn't be more wrong. It was one of the sickest 1080s thrown in a pipe, EVER. To say it wasn't smooth is insane. The ski popped off because the binding hit the coping awkwardly, not because of the way the trick was performed.

there were a couple things i wasn't sure about with the judging, but after reading illmoney's post it makes sense. and crichton didn't deserve to win, even though his run was the best, he didn't quite stick the whole thing clean. if you want to medal at something like the x games you gotta stick ur shit clean.

tanner got totally fucked i thought his run was the cleanest one of the most tech and it was really big too it had all the elements and deserved at least podium

1. dumont

2. olsson

3. DC

slopestyle is where it was screwy

jon shouldve taken gold in slopestyle hands down. his run made tanner look like a fool. jon did a 9, a switch 9, an unatty 5, and a switch 10.(i think thats what it was) tanner deffinitly didnt deserve to win. i also think that if dumont dint fall on the last jump in each of his run, he wouldve made it to the podium. but yea, jon shoulda won slopestyle, then tanner, then olenick
