Dumont's new 2-year documentary

because he already has. ignorant fuck

flash_video_placeholder.png
and he uses h-mob in his other edits so suuuuck it

haha yeah he used the same song in both keystone edits, and his JOSS final vid. its gonna be a sweet movie though

there was a discussion on it before but that "new" progression front with a spin, looks kind of awkward is propbably what allen dislikes...not that i can speak for him but earlier this year it was posted and some peopel dislike the style of the new front...usic was a bit playedout as well

I had to watch it to remember why I didn't like it when it was posted earlier this season.

ha hes gona film for 2 years and still not have half the sick shit that tanner has in his movies every year

i really dont see why people hate so much on him. so he used a song someone else used for one of his edits big deal and his sick at skiing.

pretty good edit...i enjoyed it skiing was for real good..but again its simon...his front flip spinny thingy makes me think of an aerialist when i see it..its impressive but I like the slower smoother spins..

ok dude we get it, you hate simon, nobody cares.

From now on your reply to threads about him should just be "hi" because everyone already knows you're just going to bitch about it.

Ha, it's funny reading this hate about Simon. It kind of reminds me of what Tanner was to NS like 2 or 3 years ago (but not as extreme). I guarantee you Simon will grow on every hater on NS when he starts skiing pow or something and be loved by the ski community.

seriously dude. fuck simon dumont. he has the voice of a fifth grader who needs to blow his nose.

its because you fruiterboot lolzlolzlolzroflzzomgz jk i do too but i think we hated tanner because he was too baller at the time, now everyones like how he was with tall tees and such

i realized right after i posted that i would sound like a faggot. i love him as a skier, i am just bothered by his voice. never did i claim that i was better than him though.

Mhmmm. That's the very FIRST thing I noticed when I watched that video in December or whenever...the pow pow, not those silly Empire gloves!

Simon can't ski pow because he's the complete tool package from big companies. I hope his company goes down in flames! We should boycott that shit, he charges high prices for bullshit merch.

doesnt matter if he uses the idea soundtrack or not. that edit was sick and if the whole movie is going to be like that then im buying

the thing that i think would be stupid about this is that its a self documentary he is pretty much saying look at how good i am

this is ridiculous

Call Dumont a short, bitch, high-voice, loser that sells over priced gloves that rival the quality of Marshall's gloves, and i might agree with you..

...but he is a great skier, and doing a documentary about his pro-skiing career along with some great footage like the keystone edit, and I guarantee that I won't be the only customer.

Every time Dumont is around guys like Pep or Candide, he seems really chill. The trick would be to get him to only hang with really laid-back skiers, and Dumont would be a great frontman for our sport.

he just kinda pissed me off, when in yeah dude he said, "the prize money was the biggest incentive." I mean I know he probably doesn't want to have a regular job, and that living off skiing would be awesome, but you don't hear any other pros saying stuff like that, they're all just stoked on skiing itself, and money comes second. Just my two cents, flame away all you want

Yeah that really set me off too. And the fact that he isn't too creative and just tries to do things that gymnasts do makes me like him less.

yeah exactly, but as much as I dislike him for those reasons, I still respect him for his athleticism, and how hard he is pushing for skiing to be implemented in the olympics, by going on ellen and such. I think it would be great for our sport if it was included in the olympics, I know a ton of you dont want exposure for our sport, but once again, just my personal opinion

Why should he like the Midwest? There is no draw for him to want to go there?

Maybe he didn't like the people since they aren't committed to skiing? (Don't use the cliche: we are so committed, we ski in 10 below, on ice, everyday). If skiing really mattered to you then you would move out west to actually ski. You don't need to be rich for this, you can be broke and bum it hard.

I understand you like the "scene" and being the best at your podunk mountain. Being a big in a small pond works for you, but doesn't help your personal progression. Maybe Dumont just wants to be others with the same drive as him, not one who are "stuck" (mentally, not physically) in the midwest.

This thread got WAY off topic and I think that was one of the most ignorant things I have read on here in a while. "If skiing really mattered to you then you would move out west to ski." Shut up.
