Dumont

I like Dumont, I would say he is the best skiier out there, but he stills kills it. I dont like when he double front flips, its been abused
 
A pioneer of freeskiing? How old are you like 6? Have you never seen a ski movie from more than like 4 or 5 years ago. He is so far from being a pioneer it isnt even funny.
 
bahah that doesn't count! I talking about dub corks, rodeos, flats.

There's a lot of kids on here who can dub front or back straight but

almost none can do a dub cork or rodeo.

simon i a different type of skier yea hes not as hood as tom wallisch or harlaut or any of thoes guies. but he still throws down. but thats why they brought tom in to JOSS with him. He's leaning... but slum dog illionare was pretty gay though hes trying a lil to hard. thank god for Nick martini to show him some VIOLENT HAND JESTURES tward the camera.
 
i like dumont but hes not the best out there.

if u have seen the allisprots show, episode of wallisch, dumont isnt nearly as good as him.

he said iin the show that he was in X-games when he was 14 doing cork 7's. Now kids are doing that at like 10 years old give or take.

this kid at my local hills is 14 pulling sw 12's, kangs, and dub fronts, doing all of them with smooth and simple style.

dumont is good, and hes onlystill in the Highlights cause he was ''spotted'' early in the park ski 'life' u could say.

handrails he isnt that great, or rails at all :/ . the only tru trick thta i can say stands out to me are his corked out 10's with a tail. I cant say the dub front cuz theres like a 15 year old kid that films with dedicated pictures pulling a dub front with a superman stretch out on the second.

i like dumont tho, but he doesnt reach the standerds of alot of riders who could exced his skill level and push the sport farther if they had a chance to show themselfs in x-games or other comps but the spots are always taken by the regulars.... Ya Know

that 2nd webisode really made me want to go skiing.

found it funny in the x-big air that douglas and sal were talking like he might try a triple.

and i have been reminded of the acroskillionaire edit... so good

trying a little hard on the bang but sick stuff for sure, especially the lip 270 pretzel

but as for the thread, i agree with the dude that posted the picture of him cork 9ing at like 35 feet at sunday river... the dude's nuts
 
ya im definitely with siekierski heredumont hasnt done shit lately and he unlike every other skier has not stepped up yet
 
Dumont still got top 3 at every pipe event last year just beacause he isn't amazing at slope doesn't mean he doesn't throw down no one has even come close to his QP 900 record.
 
why do you care about what dumont does?

He slays with his own style and way, you have no right to say that others are better then him, cause thats only your opinon. freestyle skiing is all about different peoples opinions on what looks nice.

I met Sammy At camp of champions this summer and he is easily one of the nicest guys i have met, he is so chill. And On the Simon dumont thing he is one of my favorite skiers and in my opinion is one of the best, steziest cork 3's and great pipe game as soon as he gets dub corks they will be so clean.
 
what, just because doubles are the cool new thing, every pro has to learn them to be legitimate? dumont is finding other ways to be one of the best which is what i actually admire about his skiing
 
He doesnt need to do double corks if his style is good, double corks aren't everything. People are still watching him even though he doesn't do double corks.
