I don't care if he shreds, that is the single most recockulous thing that I have EVER heard out of the mouth of a 'pro' athlete. He would get murdered if he acted like that anywhere but in Bethel Maine. I can't believe he represents our sport. He epitomizes small man's disease.

Well of course he fucking kills it in pipe and he might be a skiing god to some of the people on this website and fucking in the ski industry. But step out of this little world and into the real one and hes NOTHING! If he went anywhere out of Bethel, Maine or anywhere without his crew he'd get smashed and you all know it. I'm gonna go on a rant for a couple of paragraphs.....

These kids win some high profile comps, get some sick sponsorships, but they still feel like they gotta show everybody how 'tough' they are. I don't get it. I think Tanner is FINALLY starting to realize that the way to get more positive exposure to our sport is to be a good example, and show some class in the public spotlight. Why do you think people love and respect Tony Hawk or Michael Jordan so much?? It's not because they went around starting fights... they let their skill show for the itself. HOPEFULLY, these ski pros will get it that they have to stop acting like pussy highschool kids and start acting like pro athletes, or our sport will continue to be underexposed; no one will take a bunch of wankster ass, stoner kids seriously.

P.S.^ I know Tanner got thrown in the drunk tank, but he issued a public apology. Plus, he tried to be civil and give props to people that beat him in the Xgames even though he was furious.

Seriously if there was one kid in skiing that I would NOT want to fight... its Simon. I'm not joking at all. Some big dumb sweedish jock was fucking with Steele over there a few years ago, Simon laced him up too. He's not out looking for fights, but if he gets put into that situation, look out.

That bethel maine shit was fuckin hilarious... Hollywood script writers get paid shit loads of money to come up with material like that.

so what about his pipe air thats not what this thread is about, it is obious that he is one of the best pipe skiers in the world, that not whats being debated, what this thread is about is the way he carries himself as a person and a represenative of our sport, and personaly i think he is doing a very bad job at representing our sport, i am not saying that he is a bad skier, because if he was he wouldnt win comps, but his atitude and image are terrible for him and for our sport.
