Dumont to armada?

Doubt it's Tanner. Simon is in NZ with Oakley at the moment.. Tanner wasn't part of the group that came over with them
 
look at the poles in the first pic! maybe he's just testing skis though to see who he wants to ride with
 
its just going to be weird seeing dumont riding for a different company, he's probably one of the most known skier, i mean most of my boarder friends only known dumont and THall
 
idk about this but it might be worth noting we've seen people using armadas between sponsors before.. whether it be cause they just like the skis, they grabbed them from a friend, or just some good PR work by armada, idk, but it has happened
 
has he dropped salomon and we're just guessing armada is the next thing? or are we guessing he dropped salomon and is checking around skis for new sponsor...
 
my thoughts exactly. not like they have a grudge or anything, it would just be crazy.

although most of the info on this second page makes me think its not true
 
maybe hes going to be like b and e say hes completely done with salomon and pretend hes on armada or another company for awile but really be riding salomons with diferent topsheets then he will show up somewhere with salomons and ya

And I agree that he doesn't fit right with Armada, but both Armada and Simon are going to benefit from the partnership. Armada is going to completely dominate pipe this season.
 
well i kinda believe that it is dumont on those skis..

i mean he is wearing all black in the other pictures. maybe he was just trying them for fun?

or maybe he actually is gonna swtich to armada but wants to keep it a suprise!

I work up at Cardrona and I saw Dumont wearing all black and training in the pipe a few weeks ago. I did not notice what skis he was on though. That picture looks like exactly what he was wearing and it looks like his style.
 
just because someone is on a certain pair of skis doesn't mean that's their new sponsor.

check out Session 1242 where Kristi Leskinen is blatently skiing on a pair of Armadas all the while being sponsored by Rossi.

if that is Dumont, he could have been flowed at pair of skis by O'Connell for that shoot if he didn't want to be seen on Salomons anymore.
 
i guess it could be, dumont does lay out like that when he spins in the pipe. i actually dont really care, not a huge fan of him
 
saw him this summer cruising around mammoth and he was skiing armada still

he probably tried to get paid by ninthward, didn't get paid per usual of that company, and decided to ski the better of the free skis he was getting
 
Its not about the skis, dumont will have skis made to his specs by anybody he rides for, its all about whos gonna give him the best contract

Salomon sucks. Remember when they dropped Sarah Burke due to a broken wrist? The next season she covered (i think it was Freeskier) boosting the quarter pipe with Armada's. i guess she got the last laugh.
 
salomon is turning their back on park skiing...

bobby and kaya are staying

they're pretty much dropping everyone else or letting them go

next year they will have just 1 park ski that is made in china
