so i am thinking about getting a pair of 176 dumonts but i havent ever rode them? any comments about them to help me make up my mind? are they soft? stiff? fun? good park ski? or any other recomendations?
i have a pair of this years dumonts for sale. when i rode my buddy's they were super poppy. this years already have a full wood core and sandwich construction just means that the topsheet will chip easier....
not really a soft ski but soooooooooo nice on jumps/rails for me and pipe! super nice. and you can get people really bad with the rooster tails of snow haha thats always fun
Simon Dumont, is one of the greatest freestylers ever. As for his skis, i have them, they are amazing. flexible, light, sick graphics, got the S12 bindings on them. really, smooth, and easy to turn (Spin), all freestyle terrain ski; pipe, jumps n rails. smooth landing with ski, even if you land unbalanced. So the ski is amazing. The only thing is thta its a bit expensive.
If you're gonna get a great end of season deal on a pair go ahead and get this years. I fucking love mine, they are freaking awsome in park pipe, butter like toast and they even do work all around the mountain. I had mine on yesterday and was doing powder runs with them, they're a great ski and if you want to save money go ahead with this years. and mount em up with some sth 16's.

i like the 08s better than the 09s. didnt really care for the flex pattern, and they weigh a lot more and feel kinda snappy instead of the nice pop the current dumonts have
