Iam thinking about getting a pair at the end of this season and i was wondering how they are out of the park, i ski mostly park but i enjoy skiing the whole mountain when i go to hills that dont suck. My hill dosnt get that much snow but when we do i love to be in the trees and i was wondering how they would handle. thanx. please only respond from personal experience.

The Dumont works surprisingly well out of the park on groomers. It is light and poppy and really fun. In powder it will be some work though.

I found the dumont to be pretty capable outside of the park. It is pretty soft, so you can't just trust it to blast through variable/cruddy stuff. It is definitely a ski that takes skill in line selection and technique to ski off-piste. With that in mind, it's a very nimble ski and holds a pretty good edge. If you are skiing more all mountain, maybe bump the mount point back a cm or two, as Salomon recommended mount points are always more catered towards park skiing.
