well my dad writes math books and he tries to make the problems interesting so in his next book there is a problem about dumont boosting out of the halfpipe at the x games. I am excited

there are 2 rails setup next to eachother in a terrain park in whistler bc, one is twice as long as the other, and both the measurements equal 30 feet, what is the length of the longest rail? whats the length of the shorter?

TJ Schiller leaves the top of the park 30 seconds later travelling approxmimately 26 mph to hit the bigger kicker. a) How long will it take Schiller to catch Bibby? b) if the lift line is 3000 ft down the hill, will he catch him in time to ride up?

Its an algebra book made mainly for community colleges and there will be a nice picture of it. It is going to be a chapter starter problem. it will be out this fall and will be in most big book stores probobly.

thats cool. I might be a physics TA for first year university classes. I'll teach all the kids physics in ski terms instead of whatever else they learn. and I'll take them for beer after. I'll be the best TA ever. I wish I had me for a TA back in the day.
