Dumont doesn't rep skiers well

If either of you are getting anywhere with this argument, it's Cali bro digging himself into a deeper and deeper hole

Just figured I'd bring somebody into this thread to help moderate.

What the fuck are you talking about? Andy didn't shit on dumont's competition or his hard work. Actually he even gave props to him for organizing the event and that he has been killing it for so long. Also, you have missed every point someone has given to you, and still you continue arguing. Please, for the sake of humanity, shut the fuck up.

He wasn't shitting on his event, he was complaining about the organising. The organising of the event is stupid why market the event as a comp for the east conp and exposure for the east when you're inviting olympic medalist, offcourse an east coast skiier doesn't have a chance against a pro. The Dumont cup ispretty much just like dew tour or TNF park n pipe where a young person doesn't have a chance.

Dumont didn't use poles at the X games once... Does that make Luke Van Valin relevant? No.

I blame Chug.

People take dumbass trolls way too seriously in NSG...All he wants is to feed the argument, so don't give him that satisfation of seeing people getting pissed off

@californiagrown is really a disgruntled snowlerblader who is bent on pitting the NewSchoolers community against all the Line pro riders.

pretty sure that

lack of sleep + copious amphetamine usage = stupidity

take a hint from obi-wan kenobi you may want to stop doing drugs and rethink your life

I dont believe the original post was ever about his competition, It was about Dumont going out of his way to talk shit on people with no poles, just like he did at War Of Rails. your idiocracy throughout the years continues to baffle me Californiagrown and your ability to take arguments out of context. Hooked on phonics might do well for you, maybe you can gain a little reading comprehension and stop using the argument that people are "sucking TC's Dick" when they tell you that you are wrong.

Hope to meet you one day so i can truly see the moron behind the keyboard.

This whole thread was started because someone was upset Dumont expressed how he prefers poles over no poles; just thought I'd remind all of you

chiming in here:

the US open used to be the dopest shit ever because of the fact that unknown dudes could compete against the current pros and some really good/successful skiers came out of that

so why are people complaining that this is (sort of) the format here?

because the orange name in this thread thinks east coast skiers and east coast parks are terrible. He believes that it is wrong to give east coast skiers the chance to have a cinderella story.

but because he is an orange name, and has a succesful web series, kids will agree with him without seeing the idiocy in his posts.

It just sucks when pros bring negativity into the industry by hating on events and other pros.

Did anyone actually watch the contest? There were some really good east coast kids, that most people have never heard of, who made finals. Sure, they didn't win, but still got some exposure and experience that can only help them going forward.

Also, I'm pretty sure Simon asked Geopper to use poles.

I agree. The only thing that pisses me off are other kids on the hill calling you a punk or whatever seeing you no-poling, even if you throw down and ski on a relatively high level. That's the only time where I actively am upset about people talking shit about other people doing their own thing.

man that guy was a tool

also this thread is crazy, i really dont get why caligrown got so much shit for disagreeing with andy saying it's bs to have EC kids go against pros-- as i said, everyone loved the US open (and it was successful in finding sick skiers) and it sounds like the dumont cup worked pretty damn well too
