does 5cm in ski length really make a noticeable differance?

it matters what ski...if you are going from a soft ski to a longer ski that is stiffer, the difference will be more noticeable. if you are getting the same ski or going to a softer one, 5cm shouldnt make a difference.

ill be super rich and own mt.hood and let everybody from ns ski for free... except freezed

not that it matters but i think there 182cm.

if you like a longer ski then go for it. but going froma 168 or whatever to a 175 i tihnk you'll notice a difference.

i was also kinda wonderin this too....like i ski a 180 right now...but im lookin at gettin the msp 187 and i wanna know how much harder its gonna be to throw around a ski that is that much bigger. im assuming it jus takes some getting used to

^i want to do the exact same thing.....if you're used to one length, you're barely going to notice going up 10cm, or even 15. basically you'll be used to it after a run or two, tops

i made a 19 cm jump up in sizes, to a stiffer ski, and I was already adjusted after only a couple runs. It's not that hard to adjust, and it helps the riding a lot more, feels much more stable and solid.

i went from a 169 soft to a 182 stiffer ski for this season and i'm just stoked to be riding a more solid ski.
