Dumbest idea ever

So I go to a poorly managed resort and we usually have a big air comp at the end of every season (minus last year due to lack of snow). This year, they don't have enough snow for it again but instead are holding not a big air comp but a "just right" air comp. This will be a 10-15 foot jump. In my opinion this is an awful idea and they are trying to brand it as a "unique" and "one of a kind" even but I just think it's stupid. Thoughts?

You don't understand. A few years back we had a different manager who cared really hard for us and there was a ton of cool events and we had a great park crew who cared and now the manager puts little to no effort into anything and it's sad to see the resort go down the drain. The stock has been falling bad ever since he came

The new gm was too cheap to make snow half the time so we got a max base of like 18 inches and the weather is just destroying us. The resort an hour south of us made a ton of snow as still has a 3 foot base. The new gm just tries to squeeze as much profit as possible and the old one used to blow a crap ton of snow and built a 50 footer at the end of the season. The weather hasn't helped but the gm is major issue.

Nah trust me it's shit we just had a good start it was close to 70 last weekend when I was skiing also it's been rain to

I mean in my opinion at least the mountain is doing something. If I were you, I would bring the vibes (and possibly some beers). You could make that 10 - 15 footer hella fun!

It might also encourage many less skilled athletes to give it a try (more competition down the road)... sure it isn't what you wanted or what has happened in the past, but at least the mountain is trying to keep some sort of tradition alive so that if there is more snow next year it will actually happen... I do agree that its bullshit to try and brand it unique and one of kind... fuck that. I would recommend just having a hell of a time goofing around on it, and if there is some sort of prize, just slay it!

Hang Loose

Springs has a "Little big air" comp every season now. It's a very poppy 15 foot jump that everyone gets to throw down on. This years comp was actually sick cause the finals just turned into a competition to see who could land a dub.
