i won't bore you with the details, but my best friend dieter got shot yesterday. he's still alive but he won't be able to ski for the whole year, and now i have nobody to ski with.

I feel you too dude, one of my friends got shot in the leg with a sawed off shot gun from like ten feet away at a park by my house. He didn't die, or even come close, but it still makes you think about that kind of shit.

Yeah, but even if guns were completely outlawed, people would still get ahold of them with ease. So if criminals are walking around with guns then we should be able to protect ourselves from them. I'm talking handguns. For a lot of people guns are a way of life...sport shooting is one of the sunnest things ever, hunting too, but I don't do it all that much. Firearms are apart of America, even if they were outlawed completey people would still hunt and people would still be killed. I do completely agree though that guns can be a problem, especially at the point of sale...even if you could only buy your guns through the government, the 'bad guys' would still get ahold of them with ease.

THE DETAILS: Lately his sister has been dating a drug dealer, he was picking her up from his apartment that he shares with his brother (who owns the gun and wasnt home at the time) and this 'drug dealer' (who's a pussy ass bitch) was showing off his brother's semi automatic 22, the clip was out but there was still a live round in the chamber, so one of the other guys was playing around and pointed the gun at dieter and took a shot, needless to say, they were both surprised when dieter collasped on the floor in a bloody mess.

dude it is jut the states. Americans are anal to think its not just them. In Canada there are lots of stabbings, and yes it is pretty easy to get a gun, but if you use the gun, the consequences are super harsh, but the thing is if you just have the gun, the consequences are just as bad. We don't need guns for protection in Canada, but in the states everyone seems to think you do. Its gay.
