dumb question, this will probably turn out like painting skis,

but what if you painted your boots, like take them apart first

Could be sick...
Could end up like shit...
all depends on how well you plan it out and how good a painter you are...
post pics :-)

thats the thing i dont wanna ruin my boots lol

has anyone done it yet?

ive got 06-07 dalbello rampages and wanna paint the tan part to white rather than buy new boots

^but yea i would deff take my time and do a good job hah

I'm gonna go ahead and be conservative and say "Don't do it." The boots have too many crevasses and bumps and knobs and whatever. It would be alot of work and you'd possibly be jeopordizing the most important part of your setup

yea i wouldnt just spray the whole boot or anything

im considering doing what was done in that video for inline skates

anyone else our there ever painted or died their boots

i just want to change the tan part of my dalbello rampages to white like the newer models

I don't know how well paint would bond to polyethylene or polyether - may want to look into that - not to mention the chances of the paint wanting to crack due to constantly flexing the boot?

^ yea that shouldnt be a problem with the cracking, im deff taking my time looking around for a great plastic paint

^ i would only be painting the tan part so flexing shouldn't be a big prob

yo dude i would most definatey die that shit. your bound to have a much cleaner looking, better finished product. i used to do it to my lax heads all the time and it would usually turn out pretty nice when done right. and you can like write shit on it with a hot glue gun then after you die it you peel the glue off to reveal a nice message of your choice. it was just an awesome old time
