Dumb ing ruined my summer

drink some hot tea, with a lot of lemon. and take shots of pure lemon, as well as fire ball whiskey. breath through your nose and avoid breathing through your mout.
 
Wow, I don't understand how it can hit some people so hard. I had it a year back during the ski season. I also got it from a stupid slut. It didn't affect me that badly though, I had a sore throat which bothered me and I felt really tired but it still didn't cause me to miss one day of skiing. The throat symptoms lasted about two weeks and the fatigue around a month. Apparently my spleen was swollen as well but it never really bothered me.
 
You don't have mono until a blood test confirms it.

All your symptoms are also consistent with really bad strep throat. When strep really hits hard, you can't do shit all. You can't eat, you can't move, and you can have fevers that spike super high. In fact, if strep is bad enough, you can't even take down fluids.

You need 2 things:

1- A throat culture to figure wtf is going on with your throat.

2- A blood test to either confirm or deny the Mono.

A sore throat is one of only many mono symptoms that can be caused by other issues. And there IS medication for it, but it's hard to get a hold of, still kind of experimental, and expensive.
 
ask for oxacillin. its a B-lactam that is similar to pennicillins 4 carbon/nitrogen ring structure. Has the same denaturing effect on the cell wall.
 
yep. alot of the times, strept comes along with mono. and the meds are easily attainable with a prescription from your doc.
 
take some roids. seriously, tell ur doc u need to get better asap and he might perscribe you some roids. my sis got them when she had mono

how are you going to know you're allergic to penicillin when you've never taken it before and your doctor prescribes it
 
and how's your doctor going to know that you're allergic when you're just chillin in the office? I thought the kid was bitching about how his doctor screwed up.
