Dumb college kid. what should i have done?

Well he probably wouldn't have. You just left your door unlocked and he walked in.

And you'd be surprised. I mean if they really wanted to people could smash your car window out and steal shit from your car but you're a lot more likely to have shit stolen if you leave it unlocked.

kinda true. my point was not regarding handguns because here i overall like the way european countries handle that.

and i did research on "normal" guns, hunting rifles and stuff.

i was more talking about rocket launchers, assault rifles and other overkill weapons which hopefully arent easily available in most states in the US. but i dont know, i admit

the only one in this thread to admit that he can make mistakes btw

saw the situation devolving to an argument about guns on page one, skipepd ahead to page three, and of course its still going.

i don't give a shit if someone owns a gun or not, but i think it's fucked up a buddy would feel justified shooting someone in a situation like the OP

too bad you couldn't do that in all the other threads you've ruined with your ignorance...

you dont even know gun laws in america and you come in here arguing against them. you dont even know if we can get rocket launchers

thats straight ignant bro

had this happen to my house. I was the smallest roommate at 6'4" 200lbs so this guy had no chance at all. My best bud, roommate who is also a marine, took his hockey stick and basically cross checked the guy out of the house breaking his jaw in the proccess.

Talk shit, get hit. especially when you break into someones house...

OP you did the right thing though. if dude wasnt causeing problems, let him be and kick his ass out in the morning.

oh god, fuck off you complete shithole.

have you ever researched something that is discussed like gun laws? where a shitton of pro and anti organisations spew their "facts" all over. yes i have and have already debunked at least 6 "facts" from these shitshow pro-gun horseshit websites in a similar thread a while ago. but i am tired of crawling through an abundance of apeshit left and right and i really like an unbiased source. and wiki, hate it or love it or do whatever you want with it, is the closest thing to an unbiased source in such matters.

if your fucked up brain is not having the capacity to process this thought all the way through and youre a high school kid who thinks its cool to repeat what you heard from other fuckheads, go fucking on. but dont do it around me. cant stand people like that.

wiki is probably the top 5 inventions of the last 20 years. i am not even kidding.

so, there are scholarly sources on the current gun laws? wasnt aware that this is an active field of research.

i did use such papers for my tirade somewhere on here on how guns didnt prevent criminal actions pretty much everywhere in the world and how all the pro-gun "data" is either straight up manipulated or taken out of context.

but on this topic, where should i go? yes i could look up all single states official laws/federal law, blablabla, but for this specific topic, wiki beats ANY other source for relative quality and speed of access reasons

It would have fallen somewhere along these lines... I would have gotten that $40, plus any other value that he had, and he would not have stayed anywhere in my house.

omg check your meter. why would anyone with half a brain actively research and summarize the law regulations in a scientific paper?

shut up or learn to read, can live with both
