dulling edges on new skis

i just got my new skis and i was wondering who out here dulls the edges a little on new skis so they don't catch on rails. i have heard a 2 degree bevvel works, anyone done it?

Its not really necessary. After five slides youll be ok, Ive never had new skis catch. If you really want to, theres no real science to it, just take a file or sharpening stone and dull it very slightly.

i did it because the metal in my grind rail is very soft and i just used a file but i haven tryed them yet cuz im sick and the snow around my rail is melted =(

I cant spell so dont make fun of me

 
I thought the same thing, because i'm stupid.

I was lazy and didn't do it, and well... it didn't do anything, I didn't catch a single edge on rails.
