I weigh around 150 and am 5'10"ishLooking to mount on JJs - Plan on using skis for multiple years, and am still growing

Any reason to get the Dukes over the Barons?

Barons are lighter, but are they the same quality?

Boot sole currently = 310, but am surely going to bump that up in the coming seasons

get large (305-370) or small (265-325)?

Thanks and plus K

im 510 is and weigh 150 too, and i got sorta the same setup except i got Rocker 2's with the dukes, got the dukes cuz i ride a 9 din, and i dont want to crank my bindings too high, ive herd if your maxing out your dins it makes the springs weak after a while, also i think dukes are better quality, dont hold me to what i just said, i did not research this, its just what i currently know so if anyone wants to correct me go for it

I've bee running Duke's for two seasons and have never had an issue. They've ALWAYS held up remarkably well considering I ski bindings pretty hard. I was nervous at first that I wouldnt feel as secure in a touring bindings as I did in my FKS but they've always felt 100%. I've never ridden the Baron's but I know some people who have gone through several pair from skiing them too hard. Don't quote me, but I believe they're more plastic and therefore more likely to break - so it all comes down to whether or not you want a burly, heavy duty binding.

If you decide you want the burlier binding but would prefer the weight of the Baron, I say sacrifice the weight, because you wont be able to do any touring if your binding is broken.

anyone have any positive feedback on the barons...? i picked up a pair earlier this summer and i just wanna re-asure myself it was the right choice.

Depends on your size and skiing style! if you're usuually good on a twelve din bindings then totally the Baron should hold up. Or if you not going to be hucking or skiing it too hard it should hold up fine. It's by no way a bad product.
