Get the Helix. It will be the best ski for strength to weight ratio, as well as size to swing weight ratio. The skis are super light, poppy, and strong.

They are built for what you are describing

yeah my park length is 176...sum helpful advice; looks like the helixs got my name written all over it. here every1 have some of that karma!!

he weighs 145lbs. last time i check your supposed to buy skis in relation to your weight, skill, and what you ride. not height. he can get a 186 if he wants, i'm just saying he's gunna need more muscle than if he had like a 178. so really, i'm not false, you guys are just too blind to read the weight factor. i'm not saying he should a some in the 170's, cuz it will also depend on his skill.

I think it depends on where you live. Size is very subjective to the individual and there are many factors that go into it. Weight, Height, skiing ability, the snow type where you live, etc. Go with the Helix. Fugging awesome. That thing does everything well.

my 08 dumonts have been my widest ski thus far but im assuming that if i can muscle 1080's on medium sized jumps with them then i can handle a 105 waist 187 ski...but i guess well see.

I'm 135lbs and 5'8" and I ride 190 Live Life 1s just fine, and they are incredibly stiff.

Yes, skill plays a phenomenal factor in distinguishing which flex/length is suitable, but riding a bigger (or stiffer) ski will definitely improve your riding, because more core strength and general muscle is required to achieve the same level of agility that you would have with a smaller, lighter pair of skis.

When I was 5'4" and 145lbs I rode 179 powder skis, which felt way too big at first, but after a week of riding on them I was able to control them just fine. I began noticing that I had more leg and core strength, as well as stamina. a few years later I switched from a light/soft park ski to a super stiff/heavy park ski, which again helped me A LOT with my skiing strength.

People in the 80's were doing triple flips on 200cm skis that weighed ten times as much as modern skis, and you think he can't ride a bigger ski? A good skier can ski any length.

are they? for me not really...as comfy as full tilts can be, personally they look like shit. specifically the colour choices. i like how salomons are coloured. like a nice 2 tone.

the one where your mother sucks everybodies cock...if u didn't get it by now, this title was just a ploy to get the help i was looking for, and thanks to some very decent ppl ive finally picked out the helix for my all mountain/pow ski...im so very sorry if I wasted 2 seconds of ur useless life and if you want to cry about it in this thread go right ahead ill be on the mountain rippin my new skis while u sit on here posting ur attempts at witty humor..have a nice night broski.

Dude, get the moment Bibby pro. comes in a 187, most fun ski I've ever ridden. Shreds everything from groomers to pow and from what I've heard a lot of people like it better than the EP. I've got the dukes on mine, originally planning on only riding them on pow days, will most likely be converting to jesters and riding them every day very soon.
