Duckin Ropes

this is why i love europe, generally they don't give a fuck, i got called out by a liftie last week while ducking a rope, for a moment i tought "aww shiit" but it turned out he wanted to give me advice, he said i should keep on the right side of a couloir for best pow and stay away from the left face due to avvy danger, gave me a fistbump and sent me off !
 
boom right there. If i were to duck a rope at Camp Fortune, QC, the most that might happen is i catch my ski on a protruding shrub. OH NO.
 
haha. You should take a trip to the east and see why people duck ropes. As far as doing that out West, I completely agree with you.
 
I don't even have ropes to duck at my home mountain in the UP of Michigan, the woods are so thick that they don't even need ropes
