Dubbel cork 14

i'm... sorry? you'll have to repeat that, that's not possible surely?

SICK PC!! looks like the scandanavian takeover is still gathering strength.

is it just me or does it look like he could have gone another 180 in there?

Sick trick, looks soo smooth in the air!

wow, why dont we just compete in aerials
a wise man once told me, doubles are the end of this sport, style is where it's at
if only judges judged on style and not number of spins
but please...im not gonna get into an argument with one of you 15 year old about progression

that's a pretty controversial viewpoint, particularly from someone who's meant to be repping a company here. nice professionalism buddy. whether you agree with dubcorks as a form of skiing's progression or not, why such a opinion must be a reflection of someone's age i have no idea. i'm 21 and i like doubleflips. now will you talk to me about progression?

I, much like you, would rather watch someone with style ski rather than someone with big spins. But you can't deny that some people are doing sexyyy doubles now-a-days. For example, PKs double corks are absolutely delicious, a perfect example of style and technicality.

Yeah I agree. I love the sexy doubles that are been thrown down by PK. What I don't like is hucked spins. For example a styled out sw10 (or 12) should be a hucked sw14 anyday...

don't get me wrong, i love watching doubles, i think theyre dope in fact and I'm 22

the problem is that the judging is really spin to win these days...this is solely my opinion, but I would much rather see a 10 with a sick grab 20 feet out of the pipe then watch a hucked double that they won't land(although yes some people do land them)

I think in the end it comes down to variety in your run, throw a double, land switch and go into a 12...and grab each hit with style...thats how it should be

i was not impressed with your first post of this thread, this one however is much more reasonable and i agree
dub 14 was crazy thoughdefinitely impressive

once people start doing dubs with style we won't have to worry about it looking like aerials. people are already starting to do em with style so its not worrying me if its turning into aerials or not. for example PK's dubcorks are steezy as fuck, steezier than a lot of peoples single corks. jon's kang flip is flawless. kyler cooleys double corks in the BC were insane.

ya shit doesnt just start out steezy right away. even jons kang must've looked like ass for a while on the water ramps but eventually with grabs and big jumps it looked dope as hell. i doubt dub 14 will look good unless on huge jumps but stuff like dub corked 10s and 12s are starting to look so good.
