Haha. Bassnectar light? Fuck that. Seen him live? I have, twice. He's grimey as fuck, and a really good DJ in general.

It's funny when people send me dubstep songs and say "Dude, check this out, so ill", when I've heard the song like, 2 years ago, and live, and heard it a million times.

Mainstream popular dubstep is fucking stupid.
 
no, people that are discovering songs that came out last year and thinking they are the shit are stupid. At least try to keep up with the genre.
 
While you are right about mainstream dubstep being stupid, by far the best dubstep was coming out years ago. Look at the whole Deep Medi back catalouge, it's all old but timeless at the same time.

& bassnectar is sick, his music is not light. I mean that bassnectar is probably one of the most popular dubstep artists, and i figured this kid hadn't really looked around.
 
Your so underground for knowing Bassnectar. You found the most popular dub artist, and now you know dubstep? Cozza frenzy isn't even the best song on that EP.

But I'll suggest Borgore and Downlink for right now.

Not conventional dubstep nor the most accessible, but in my opinion the best, it has a really unique sound.

My school is full of hipsters who listen to Dubstep all day. Not that I have a problem with Dubstep occassionally, but I walk into the student center at 9AM and they're already blasting some heavy bass and I honestly feel like my head's gonna explode.
Any of you guys have this same Dubstep/Electronic Overload?
 
meh, i liked maybe 5-7 of the songs on it haha.

but i was never really into wu-tang to begin with, so that might explain it.
