Dub Bio

There is very little footage of any tricks that potentially resemble double bio's... it seems like the comp skiiers beat doubles to death and moved right on to trips, but it seems as if they missed one. Who can find footy of a real dub bio?

lat 5 to switch bio/misty 5 IMO.

If you pause it when he gets to 540, he's pretty much level with the ground. If you envision the rest of the trick as a separate flip, it looks like a switch bio/misty 5.

I definitely agree on the first part, Cheddar oozes style.

However, I think that was just a straight up bio 12 mute. Dope as fuck no doubt, but it doesn't look like a double. Maybe him sucking his legs up a little bit around 720 has you thinking it's a double.

Never realized that switch 14 bpaul did in that was switch dub bio 14 until now. Damn that was sick.

Also since this is a bio thread I've always been curious. I did these at Woodward at Copper 2 summers ago and I thought they were mistys (at least that's what my coach for the week said) but a lot of people have been telling me bio.

First 2 shots of this edit, thank you NS.

i think this may have been discussed at some point, but i want to see one of these on skis. my friend can do them somewhat jumping off a trampoline to pads. I guess set it like a bio/misty, then do a switch flat 5 at 180

You may not believe it but Andy Parry was trying bio 10s a couple summers ago at windells and was almost doing them doubled. But he seemed to not really know how to pull it off or get scared and ended up eating shit.

I mean, you guys are posting alot of videos of flat spins/rodeos. tims are arguablely rodeo/flat rotations he just spins alot. A bio isn't exactly the same as a rodeo/flat but they definitely look very similar. What vinny cash does is the closest to bio that pretty much anyone does IMO.

Again, these are ski tricks, flat/rodeo/bio spins 9 or higher are practically the same thing, so call it what you want.

agreed on the Vinny part..but don't start calling every off axis/inverted spins a bio because that term is reserved for cool aerial maneuvers.

How can a thread about bios not have any CR Johnson shots in it?

bunch of bio 10s and a 12 in there. from 11 years ago..

I agreefully, but no one can ever agree on it. Im not going to argue for hours when people's opinions on a bio will never change, its very hard to even describe tricks.

No. It isn't. At 40 seconds, on that janky urban jump, he does a bio 10 kang. Not going to argue, he wraps the 2nd rotation up very quickly and an angle where it is sort of tough to see, not unlike the mik d sw 10 people thought was a 7. Count how many times his body is aimed at the landing.

This is how Andres Wiig does bs rodeo 7s snowboarding. I think its the only way bs rodeo 7s should be done.

Exactly. He doesn't get as upside down as the bike does but I think that's probably due to the bmx jump being a lot more poppy. But they're pretty close I think and very sick.
