hey, im a senior in vt looking at schools in colorado, i visted a couple out there this past spring and im really interested in DU, ill probably actually apply early. but i was wondering what your thoughts were on that place and if you dont like it that much, what would you prefer in colorado over that.

p.s. the thing i really like about DU especially is the digital media arts program which seems really sick, so, if you know of any other college that offers something like that, im deffinitely interested

colorado college is pretty similar to DU. but if you want to do media arts, CC's sucks. they don't have any program for it or what not. i really liked CC but would've preferred better video/film/photo/media arts programs.

yea, i visited cc and it seemed like a really chill place, but they had little to none of that kind of stuff, i think ill still aply there though, thanks for your insight

DU is sick... fun place and a god school. Not a ton of people tho so if you want to go to a BIG college... du will probably piss u off. But yea, im a freshman... havin a good time minus breaking my collar bone the second week

DU is sick. Im a Junior, right now im studying abroad in New Zealand. But I love DU, its awesome, fun party school, good interesting classes, great people, close to the mountains, and Denver is sweet in general. let me know if you have any other questions.

im a freshman as well, and i love it here. All my professors are cool. Denver is a great place, especially coming from the midwest. Good partying also

what do people think of the city? like, what is there to do and stuff, i was there on 4/20 and i went to the rally or whatever it was, that was pretty sick, are there a lot of things like that, or does it just happen once a year (not necessarily the smoking aspect but just rallies in general)?

denvers got alot of shit... the fuckin rockies ROCKTOBER BABY haha, Broncos, Avalanche, Six flags, and Sick Concerts shit like Red Rocks which is a fuckin triiiip. They gots hills with rails, skate parks, and liquor hahahaha

another question, does any one know anything specific about the Digital Media Studies program there? like what it's like, or if it's any good, that is really what i'm interested in there.

whats the deal with colorado college? im gonna be graduating next year, but by next december ill still be a couple hours short. my school said that i can go pretty much anywhere i want to take my 1 last class, and just send the credit back and they'll let me come walk at graduation in may to get my diploma and stuff...

basically the moral of the story is im trying to find someplace cool to take ONE class and just fuck around all spring next year, and im not sure i want to go back to boulder cause i went there freshman year, what do yall think?

DU seems like an incredible school, I will go for grad school if I can afford it (and get in). However, it is overpriced for undergrad imo if other colleges have similar programs. Pretty prestigious school though, not a bad location either. As for Denver, pretty fun city if you are 21+. If not, I don't know, its not a real big city like CHi, NY, Boston, etc. You are close to so many amazing recreational venues however.
