DT version FIS skis only for elite athlete, should I buy used?

I am shopping for used FIS SL skis and find that there are a pair are exclusively designed for elite athlete (e.g. continental championship) with very very very good price.

However I was told these Development Team skis, in comparison to the commercial FIS skis on the market, are more stiffer and hard to make a turn.

I don't get a chance to try them on snow unless purchase has been made. Anyone has experience (or hearsay) for such thing? Is it just a slightly stiffer that the regular ones or much more stiffer that recreational skiers couldn't bend them?
 
Get them. They'll make you a way better skier but might kick your ass for a bit. Be careful of how sharp the edges are so you don't get thrown into the trees when you are coming to a stop.
