anyone know where to get any of this stuff not in huge amounts? please dont clutter with just saying "astroturf" or carpet or something

google... look, it is really expensive and snowflex won't happen due to the need for a substructure. When you see the price per sqaure foot you will change your mind.

Neveplast.it looks to be the best product for small quantities. The US dealer is at Bryce Ski Resort in Virginia. Good Luck!

the cheapest set up they offer is about $1400.00 US if I remember right... and it is small amount, enough for a small in-run to a rail.

For anyone serious, message me for contact information.

if there is a local kayak shop you can ask them for turf and ask if they are affiliated with snowflex cuz mine is

word i wrote to them and they said

"thanks for your inquiry.

The product used for ski & snowboard is called Neveplast NP30.

It is supplied in cm 110 x 120 panels.

Neveplast NP30 has got the same slipperiness as natural snow.

Here are the prices:

NP30 (new goods)

Neveplast NP/30 Euro/square mt. 93,30

available colours:

Green

Orange (recommended by Neveplast because it's easier to keep clean)

White

NP30 used for exibitions (second-hand goods)

Neveplast NP/30 E./sq.mt. 55,00

available colours:

Orange

White

NB. this plastic has been used only for few days' exibitions. It's the same

as the new one, but it's a little bit dirtier.

As an indication, here are the quantities of plastic that we recommend

if you want to build a little ramp for rail/box.

The quantities are connected with the inclination:

- 25% inclination = 5 linear mt

- 15% inclination = 10 linear mt

- 10% inclination = 15 linear mt

We also recommend a landing area of Mt. 4 x 4.

We also produce Urban Kit, and you can see how it works on http://www.neveplast.it/eng/urbanconcept_video.html

It includes inrun ramp, kicker and 11 square meters of Neveplast NP30 for the landing.

Its price is euro 1.850.

I'm sending you the advertisement page in the next e-mail.

Should you confirm your interest,I'm waiting for your contact.

Also if you need further info.

Here attached you'll find some photos of NP30 Urban Concept.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerly regards

Claudio

get in your car, drive to park city, wait until night time and steal it from the run in to the water ramps, if your hardcore you can use that gnarly shit on the triples kicker

Hey, what about Teflon? Teflon's the least frictional man-made substance, and you can buy a can of it for about $5. I bet if you sprayed down a wood ramp or some snow fence with it it would work just fine.

What do you need it for?

If you just want some snow in your backyard, use SnowGel from Backyard Terrain Park... you pour a bit of snowgel into a pail, stir with 4 gallons of water and you've got yourself some snow.

For real!!

That is indeed what this whole thread is about. The Nevaplast or whatever. Just some sorta plastic slippery surface.

i thought this was about the orange stuff that they had in the vid for inruns and whatnot. in the vid though they use a roller with whatever on it and roll it on the box. thats what i wanted to know about

its quite expensive. it stays around for a very long time. but from what ive read and heard from some other people it leaves a nasty ass residue on your gear

Referrng to ^^^^

yeah it probably does. its probably like "ultra-lubed" snow-like stuff, leaving shtty lube solids on your skis.
