Dry slopes? america?

once ALL the snows gone in britain, we brits tend to keep up skiing on dryslopes during the summer,
just wandering if ther wer any of those in america?, or else do you guys just get the chance to ski in the mounts all year round?
by the way, got pictures?
 
As far as I know, there aren't any dry slopes here. There is a decent amount of summer skiing in Oregon though.
 
yea. i live in the east and have no job (which i probably should get one) and so i just blade and try to set up my summer set up when ever i can.
 
they are talking about putting one in at liberty uni(super consevative christian college) in lynchburg VA, about 3-4 hours south of DC.

only a road trip away for me.
