i have allawa swanttded to know what is with dry slope. i have seen some picks of them in England but never in Canada, also are all the places that have dry slope is it all park. preatty much any thing u know about.

thanks

it's cuz most newschooler skiers want to ski the park in the summer and will do anything to do it but what other person wants to just ski on it, as far as i know you cant carve or really ski besides get speed for rails and jumps, but ya it would be so sick to get some of them in Canada

dry slopes arent in Canada because we acually get snow! thoese p[laces either have really small hills or no sno

no offence mate but you really don't know what your talking about , i ski dryslope about 3 days a week pretty much all year long, this is where i ski

http://www.rltrust.co.uk/ski_rossendale_gallery.asp

far more normal skiers than freestylers use it id say they out number us by about a thousand to 1, as there are about 6 freestyle skiers who go up there (as far as if seen anyway)

how ever it is made of smallbristles, and you can carve on it just like snow but it isnt as fast or as responsive, we have a rail and 2 kickers and a lip and is obviously open all year long

You can do anything on dryslope, its just not quite as fast and turning isn't quite as easy. Stopping's fine.

Skiing on it in the summer sun wrecks your bases tho cos of the friction. But a lot of places have little water sprinklers which keep it going fast in the summer.

Oh yeh, also dont fall over on the diamond patterned Dendex stuff. It hurts.

if u fall on snowflex(what the freestyle slopes are made from) it doesnt hurt, unless you land head first or something, cos there is cushioning under neath it but if u fall on dendex then u get graxed and bruised 'cos its got really hard bristles and no padding underneath it...it hurts way too much.

And yeas you have to wax. you can get special dryslope wax thats really hard so your ski's dont get damaged.

yes we have rails on it to and yes friction burns a lot if your ever skidding and put bare skin down, but its normaly alright apart from that

really? thats awesome, my buddy got like a couple meters of the material for some urban set ups during the summer and it just didnt seem like you could carve on it but maybe it was a different material
