Dry Ice Bombs

Ive been doing them since summer and tonight I'm going to say was

amazing. Put a bomb in an underground tunnel in the golf course by me and put the ice in and the water. It took about 5 minutes for some reason so i ran in the tunnel and kicked it. ran to the end of the tunnel and could hear the plastic expanding and stood there with my friends not thinking it was going to be that much louder and then BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMM!!!!!! freaking loudest bomb ive ever made. Ran like hell back to my car like 200 yards away were some friends were and they wer all yelling saying that it sounded like a bomb just blew up. drove back home and did another one that was supposed to not be very loud. Filled up the 2L bottle and threw it. Once again it took a long time so we threw my nalgene bottle at it and it didn't blow up. then my friend John ran and kicked it and it flew and landed an then once again BOOOOOOOOOM!! (notice the fewer O's cause it wasn't as loud) It was ridiculously loud once again and my mom runs outside and was yelling "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!!!" and she knows that we do them and shes usually pretty chill but my a couple of neighbors turned on their lights (11:00ish) so i woke them up and she told me to get inside and i had to get all my friends to leave.

So pretty much tonight the bombs i made were amazing, i think its got to do with the water that i added. I got really hot water and put it in the microwave so it was scorching so i dunno but it made for the loudest bomb ever. all in all good ass night but it was cut a little short.

Sounds Teerriifficc.

Wish i knew how to do it.

I set a mortar firework off from my hand at a crowd of friends sitting in this pool parking lot one night. Turns out wasnt them, cops pulled us over 5 minutes later and got fucked for driving w/o license.

i used to love dry ice bombs. but then i got all cocky and on a hot, sunny summer day, i did the usual, but i had this urge to do this little shake before i put it on the ground, so i did. In the process, I could feel the bottle rapidly expanding, and by the time i thought that this was going to be bad it exploded in my hands. Lost my hearing for a sec. When I could hear again, I heared this delightful roaring echo through the neighborhoods. I looked at my hand because I thought I would have lost a finger for sure, and sure enough there was blood. However, the plastic only managed to slice up my hand thoroughly (thumb especially) so there was a ton of blood. I got over it and made another that night.

Dry Ice Bomb Construction

Materials Needed

1. Dry Ice

2. Plastic Bottles and Caps any size

3. Gloves, dont touch the dry ice cause youll get mad burn

4. Hammer or something to break chunks off the ice

5. Water, hot water works amazing

6. Newspaper

7. Alot of friends to have a good time with

How to Build Em

Go to an ice cream store and buy dry ice

Put on those steezy gloves you have and take a chunk out and break it up over a newspaper.

Take the chunks and put em in the bottle.

Fill up to around where the bottom off the bottle curves into the straigh section

If the chunks are too big then just put it on the top and whack em to make them fit

Go to a place to blow em up. Tunnels work amazing for really loud bombs

Get the cap and the water.

Pour the water in the bottle, decent amount.

The more water the quicker itll explode. youll learn to judge it after some bombs.

Once the waters in and the steam is shooting out the top then cap the bitch real tight and either leave it or i like to roll it to get give it a good swirl to blow up faster.

Run like a bitch cause its scary. you wont get hurt ive had one blow up the second i rolled it.

Wait!! Youll hear the plastic expanding.

The anticipation will kill you. sometimes they take real long

IF they take a long time then grow some cajones and run and kick it or throw a rock or something at it.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!! LOUD NOISES!

Repeat!

they cant do serious damage. they'll only fuck stuff up that its enclosed in cause of all the pressure.

my friend almost lost his arm with one of those

this is the same kid that blew up a toilet tho with these huge ass firecracker things while playing basketball for my school at another school, he got arrested and is on probation now hahahah

a bb gun would be counterproductive. the reason it explodes, is the expanding gas from the ice.

As fun as it may be, it is dangerous, and illegal.

With the patriot act going, I wouldn't dare be near anything called a "bomb" , harmless or not. Try having your name in a police report, with bomb, or explosive device. I wouldn't want anyone looking at my name and bomb in the same sentence.

NO BODY FUCKING DO THIS!honestly, if you're retarded enough to play with dry ice by all means go for it but for those of you who don't want to lose your hand, keep reading. I have an uncle who works in the film industry and his job is a special effects coordinator so he knows everything about creating homemade explosives etc... so a while back hime and his buddy were bored on the set so they start making dry ice bombs. the thing with dry ice is that its unpredictable, key word: UNPREDICTABLE. you can never know how big the "explosion" will be nor how long it will take for the CO2 to expand inside the container. long story short, these guys are pros, my uncle figured it best to stop while he was ahead but his friend kept doing it. though he had it down to a science but once again, its with its unpredictable nature, blew up and he ended up losing three fingers. so go ahead, keep playing with dry ice fools.

i've done it before, nothing special

you can buy fireworks a lot bigger than dry ice bombs and the fireworks have a fuse and are more predictable

wow.. nice. i think i'll try that one day.. probably i'll do it when i move, since my new house is water front.. nobody'll think twice about it.. 'cept my parents r gonna kill me

I used to do dry ice bombs. Pretty fun, we did them next to the police station on Halloween a few times. Also had cops chase us in the town I live by but we never got caught. I also used to blow up spray paint cans and they'd make a 2 story mushroom fireball and throw big logs 30 feet out of my fire pit. Gasoline flamethrowers, napalm, molotovs, all that good stuff. Dry ice bombs are the most harmless....
