OK- this really did happen to me on friday night, and I def learned a lesson on trusting people, watching my drink, etc.... I hope you can learn something from this too
Friday night started out like a night like any other. Went to Mad-I's with 3 friends drank a little (3 drinks), and decided to go dancing. So my friend and I decided that Collin's was the place to go. I remember I got just one vodka redbull and was sipping on it when I was dancing. Then I started dancing with this guy that said he was on the NAU basketball team. I do remember him drinking out of my drink at least once. After that, the next thing I remember is walking to a jeep with 2 girls that I didn't know, and the basketball player guy. I don't remember the ride home whatsoever. The next flashback I got was getting out of the car and puking in front of my place, as the girls in the car were like "grooosss!!" and sped away, leaving me by myself. The next and LAST thing I remember from that night was trying to find my key, and then I completely blacked out. I only had 4 drinks that night, and for the people that know me should know it takes A LOT for me to puke, since I've only done it once in 10 years.
I woke up at 8am in the morning covered in my own puke with just a sweatshirt on. Without thinking twice, I took a shower and went back to sleep. When I woke up again at 12 I looked around the apartment trying to figure out what happened. Apparently I went into my poor roomates room, knocked her table down, and puked on her floor. I also looked like I feel on the coffee table breaking a plate. This amazed me cause whenever I drink, I ALWAYS remember something. In this case I remembered NOTHING. I called my friends and asked what happened and how many drinks I had. They said that they let me go home cause they knew I didn't have that many drinks at all.
Saturday was hell. I couldn't move, and when I closed my eyes, I got the spins, so I couldn't go to sleep eventhough I was dead tired. I couldn't figure out what had happened until I called my mother and told her what had happened. She went on the computer for me and did research since I wasn't up for moving. She found out I was drugged with GHP, some kind of muscle relaxant made from cleaning products. It can cause seizures and severe vomiting at the right dose.
I could've died on friday night since I was all by myself on this drug. Makes you think and question why people do this.
I was lucky. I locked my door when I came in. Nobody followed me or took advantage. And I woke up in the morning, alive.
I just wanted to write this to let everyone know the dangers of this drug. And eventhough you might think you know everyone, there's always a chance you don't. WATCH YOU DRINK AT ALL TIMES!!
