Well think about it this way
Do you want kiids coming to school on PCP, or what not, Freaking out?
No its a bad idea, and with the drugs come the problems, such as violence, Gang activity due to dealing on eachovthers turf
Also, you dont want distracted students, or students who may cause problems

it has nothing to do with what your grades are, and frankly a lot of kids are distracted by their drug taking friends.

When I was in high school my school "randomly" drug tested any students in co corricular activities... they would call down like 5 students ever tuesday during 2nd hour. What did it accomplish? Nothing..... people are going to smoke weed or do what they want regardless if the school could test them. Besides... the only thing they could do if the test came back positive was sit the student out of their activity for like 3 games and call their parents. From my personal experiences... high school drug testing is pointless.

I go to a military college where we get tested a few times a year...it's so lame. I would never wish this on any kid.

my friends drop acid and e in school occasionally, I just fuck with them real bad. We locked my one friend on acid in a bathroom stall for the whole day cause he wasn't functional... I also made him sit next to his sister high as fuck, good times.

are you serious? why would someone be distracted by their friend's taking drugs? get the fuck over it...seriously. unless someone is seriously putting their life in danger (which is almost never the case), it shouldnt matter what they're doing. if you dont want to be involved, either accept it or get some new friends?
the point is drug use is illegal? well, if you're saying that to help him with his debate, then ok, thats a good thing to bring up. but if you're serious, like the first half of your post seemed to be, then, no. first of all, prohibition doesnt work. second, just because someone is doing something illegal, doesnt mean everyone should be watched closely for it and everyone should suffer.
back to the original thread. you could use her point about saying drug use is illegal. and while at school, the school is responsible for the students, and if it feels as tho drugs are becoming a problem, they should be allowed to do the tests simply because drugs are illegal. especially in the case of minors.

sooorrry but i dont agree.what ever happened to personal privacy...its doesnt mean that kids are coming to school high when they come up positive...it just means they've used in the last couple weeks...i think its soooo lame...we dont have drug tests unless someone "anonomously" tells the guidance counselors because they are worried about u which i think is bullshit...thank god highschool is almost over!!

on another note, yes i did go to high school! O M Gso therefore, i know a lot of people who spent more time fucking high and not passing school and a few also who spent more time fucking high than graduating and those who barely graduated by going to night school.
so, while there's the odd person, i.e. my brother who did shrooms/pot and whatever else and got 90s in highschool and then liberal arts in college, that still doesnt account for the mountains of fuck ups.
and btw, if its illegal, dont piss and moan if you get caught.

well i dunno where you see that its illegal in the constitution, but im no supreme court justice, nor do i think it should be legal anyhow.

its not an odd thing that you're brother was the same as me, as ive seen numerous instances and have personal experience. people use smoking pot as an excuse to being lazy and its retarted. mountains of fuck ups? please, do you know how many people smoke weed? ted turner, creator of cnn admits to smoking a joint everyday and has been doing so for a very long time. one of the guys that created mac computers smokes pot. basically every musician/artist in the last 40 years smoked pot. you cant be serious...

2. if you did say that, and you believe that, then as i stated before, a person is going to be lazy regardless if they smoke weed or not. sure theres times when you're high and you dont feel like doing anything, but people that smoke regularly aren't necessarily lazy. people use smoking as an excuse for their laziness, when they were lazy to begin with.
