This just happened last week. There were events leading up to this that I know about as well.

I'm good friends with all 4 of the kids in that article. And shit, I was really close to being in that article too. So now I'm sketching the fuck out, just tossed my piece in the river. My parents are suspicious. Everyone has read the article I've been approached my a few people, as have my non criminal friends. And shit, I think there are some school papers with my name on them in the nature center. Fuck.

 
dude thats fucking terrible luck. My cousin got caught with 2 pounds in his car last year and i literally got out of the car 10 minutes before that shit happened. What state u live in? that blows so much man im sorry
 
that whole situation sounds horribly planned out. why is there garbage bags of pot out laying around? you kids are still young and obviously inexperienced. you have pretty much linked yourself by making this thread as well.
 
i doubt that the cops are gonna be searching NS for suspectsalso if hes smart his name won't be on his profile or anything
 
To clear this up, I wasn't involved with this other than using it every once in a while. I'm not THAT stupid to put 9+ pounds of weed on school property. And the kid who put it there, Garrett, is really careless and stupid about weed. REALLY stupid.

Thats a bummer man, sounds like they are going to get off fairly easy but drug laws are pretty fucked up anyway.
 
Someone I know is trying to transfer back to Caz from Cooperstown. I used to like her alot but since she's been going there my opinion of her has degraded significantly.
 
haha I love how it made it sound like the cops knew a ton about weed, talking about quality and how much you need in a joint. but they are dumbasses to be that careless, but it sucks nonetheless.
 
the best part is you know the cops there smoke a shit load, they keep talking about quality, and how many joints it would make, they also do not seem to be out for high charges, looking for the minimum and all.

my money is they found 11 lbs and are just keeping the best pound for themselves.
 
not to sound overly optimistic, but it's really not that big of a deal. If this is his first offense, and he gets a decent lawyer it will def be dropped to a misdemeanor, and def no jail time. I'm assuming you guys are in high school so they will prob make your friends take a drug course or 2, and they will be on probation. He will be fine, but use this as a wake up call, lesson learned.

But really good they got snapped now, rather than when they're not considered dumb teenagers later. You have to learn somehow. Seriously, so stupid.

i dont think they did because how can you grow 9 pounds of weed in your closet without being seen or smelled in the house?
 
I wouldn't put it passed them to say that the entire wet weight of the plants were nine pounds, not nine pounds of straight buds.

yeah often times authorities will weigh the plants as a whole instead of bud weight. thats what they get people here with. its decriminalized and people may have the 4 plant limit but when they get busted they weigh the plant as a whole so that it puts them over their weight possession limit.

to the OP, man that really sucks. all because of an unbelievably stupid law. hope thing turn out well and they dont give you shit for being friends with these guys, although it sounds like they had a really poorly organized grow and storage going on. RIP to your piece as well man, you should have just hid it instead of throwing it away man!
