i was at treman a natural swim place at likw 9:00 wit my uncle and family and trying to show off and stuff dumnass me my cell flew out of my pocket ANS INTO THE RIVER IT feel down a short water fall and was open and light in the water lucky for me it was shallow like a foot deap i jumped in and got any ideas on how to bring it back?

Well with my cell phone it can only be replaced if its lost. It this is the same with yours, got to the nearest cliff and throw it off.

Don't turn it on. Leave it off for a few days, it should dry out and be fine if you haven't turned it on already.

i have tryed to put the battery in by acident like i didnt mean to but the things tuched and it light up all bluea all screens

try taking it apart, letting it out to dry for a few days, then using it again. if you cant wait, i think a hairdryer would probably work too

its never happened to me, but i didnt mean to take it apart like totally, i should have said what stowebum said and just take out the battery, cause that is what i meant.

put it in the oven at like 300 degrees F for like a couple mins. something like that, it will get the water out

ya me and my friend were tubbing and he got his phone soaked he had to get a new one i dont think u can fix it

iv'e seen so maney people have there phones work after being droped in water the key is to just get every once of water out before you try to turn them on if you turn it on your fucked

working as a sales person for verizon i see stuff like that 2 or 3 times a day. and i hate to break it to ya but 98% of the time the phone is shot. sorry bro cell phones and water just dont mix

if all else fail you can get it ultrasound cleaned, i had to get it done when i droped my cellphone into a lake. If it doesnt work then make it "dissapear" and say it was lost then you ger a new one

my cell phone went through the wash and it ruined it. i tried to dry it out for like a week and took out the battery and everything and it wouldnt do anything. it did start randomly vibrating for awhile though.

dude, plug it in for a week. thats what i did when the same thing happened to me, and it worked five days later. and mine was totally submerged (like 15 feet). something about the current running though the circuts dries it out. DONT TURN IT ON.

yeah one time mine went through the wash and i just left it alone and took it apart so it could dry and it came back. oh yeah and another time when i was drunk i dropped my friends phone in a cup of beer....hers however...didnt turn back on.

make it "dissappear" with a sledge man. oh, and my phones been in the sink twice, and a toilet full of cleaning detergents and all those chemical things, and it still works perfectly, except that the battery only lasts a day now, and the camera doesnt work, but i think thats from back when i dropped it off the ski lift, not because of water. and the first time it was in water i tryed turning it on right away, and it just went blank, but then when i dried it out it was fine.

my brother did that a lot when he had a hot tub...all you have to do is take it apart as much you can, stick it on a glass plate ontop of a toaster, and turn on the toaster.

oh and the guy at cell repair place told me that if you dropped it in water that contains any kind of solvents or any dirt, rinse it in distilled water, then dry it.

yeah my friend dropped his cell in the lake and let it rest for a day and it ended up working

Totally right, I dropped mine in water so many times before I totally broke the shit out of it, let it dry out for 3-4 days, with the battery off, then put the battery back on and plug the charger into it and it should turn on, let it charge for a day or so and then try turning it on...it's always worked for me.

ye rip that sucker apart and hairdry it for a good half hour, it worked for me when i dropped mine in a spa

if u drop ur phone in water, try putting it in a bag of uncooked rice for about 24+ hours and then it has such a good chance of working:)

find someone whose phone is just about ready for replacement and steal the little white sticker that tells you whether or not your phone's been submerged in water. peel that off of their phone with an exacto knife and superglue that shit onto your phone where your sticker would go. then warrantee that shit.

yup. i've done it once or twice.

i jumoed into the lake with mine twice, and she still lived. Even though it was a brick phone, I just took everything apart and put it in front of a fan for the night and it worked fine the next day.

with my expriences, my friend dropped his in a lake, it worked for a while on and off then it worked back to normal after a week or so. then my other friend dropped hers in vodka hers worked after, but within a few days completly died. and my last friend dropped hers in coffee and hers worked except for the camera, and the screen had a blotch on it and it was brown from the coffee. therefor there is a possibilty yours could still work.

put it in a bag of rice for a few days to dry it out.

then leave it on the charger for a long time to prevent damage to the battery

throw it in the rice. Itll generally suck the moisture out. That or the lil packets you find in new shoes.

Those things are designed to absorb moisture

disassemble your phone, like take out the battery and other easily removable parts them throw it all in a bag of rice. The rice sucks up the moisture in your phone

put in rice. take bat out first

or

soak it in rubbing alch, without battery. the idea behind this is that itll wash out the water and will evaporate 20x faster then water would

take the battery and other other parts you can apart, then put it in a giant ziploc with a bunch of those tiny packets that come with new shoes. i happen to have a giant one of those, not sure where i got it though. DONT TURN YOUR PHONE ON for at least a couple days in the bag. do that and you should be good, worked for me.
