Droping in side ways

What do you recon droping in sideways with 1 ski going backwards and either doing a 270 mute or a 450 mute and landing normal would score.if u get my drift what im going on about.

you mean if you were holding a mute and skiing on one ski while you were dropping in?

oh that, like what dumont did i think on a box. point his skis opposite directions but still kept a parallel line.

well news flash, when you drop in you should be on your edges, doing it your way would make it difficult and not allow you to gain any speed.

that was gagnier my friend... and hes talking about ridin into a jump sideways, which i think sounds like a pretty bad idea

well i think it will rock and ive found a way of getting the spin. hope it works. but yer ill post the vid when i do it.gota wait 2 weeks till im in saas-fee in switserland.

u drop in to the kicker with 1 ski facing foward and the other facing backwards inline with your other ski. the either to a 270 or a 450 mute.

like a hip into the pipe right? they might give u some points but u'd loose all your speed for your first hit

ignore em , sounds sick to me, dangerous but fun! i bet it could look sick aswell and are you going to the saas fee british freeski camps? i am in 3 wks:D

wow no. all you guys ragging on him are retarded. watch the video. if you dropped in how gagnier is on the box, you aren't taking off going forward, and you arent' taking off switch. you are taking off sideways, thus you wont do a 360 or 540 unless you land sideways again. therefore he is right and you would technically do a 270 or 450 it would just look like a 3 or 5. and there was some kid doing it at the end of the season at alpine and it was pretty sick. im not sure its the direction skiing is going but its definitely original!

uhm, 270=180 450=360 because its adding 90 to rotations, but if you know whats good for your ligaments you wont do it.

Wow that would be ridiculous.

I sort of think that any judge would give you points for originality but that sounds so dangerous and inconsistent that it might not be worth it.

I just got an image of my head of someone doing that trick really steezy, but it just seems sooo dangerous.

I think you are a fucking moron needs to read more into the posts and understand what he is talking about. And no, he wouldnt land sideways.

for the retards who don't read the posts this is what he's trying to say.

You are on the inrun to a jump,

with your skis facing opposite directions,

so you would be facing the side of the hill,

and then taking off in this position,

spinning in the air,

and doing a mute.
