Drop some wisdom you've accumulated through life experiences

stop drinking / smoking weed / whatever ur into.

u dont have to go full church boy for life, but i genuinely think at least one month fully sober is beneficial for 99% of society. i recommend going for as long as u can

being sober really makes you confront adversities/difficulties in life with a clear mind, and deal with them properly. also your productivity will quadruple which is a nice side benefit. it will be boring at first, but u just gotta allow yourself to find new ways to keep yourself occupied without taking drugs, thats when it starts to become really beneficial and fun.

i have not regretted a single sobriety streak that i've participated in. always been a positive experience

plus when u do consciously decide to go back to the weed, you get very stoned and gain crazy insight / reflection on the past couple months or however long

drinking isnt really my thing but i imagine that first night back out at the bars will be pretty fun too if thats what ur into.

good sutff ^^

same goes for porn or any vice really

Take first aid/WFR/CPR/etc. Classes. Not because you're going to be a medical professional but also you don't want to be useless when something does go down. Especially with skiing and other activities.

This for sure. Actually on my things to do list to hit a wfr. Kind of wanted to before but now more a priority. Def run into some shit skiing, skating, any of the things. I took a chunk out of my leg dirt biking in a pretty friggin remote area, kind of reminded me that things can go down and it's good to have as much knowledge as you can. Hopefully you never need to use it, but if you or somebody gets fucked up, it's crazy useful.

Yup. Exactly that, what happened in your case with your leg. Also Wilderness Survival skills. You never know when you might need to spend a night out there. Speaking of this, I need to sign up for some WFR stuff soon once I get my OEC done.

IMO its not a matter of "if" it happens, its just "when", but you don't need to stay all cooped-up and on edge and keep it in the front of your mind. People sometimes do stupid shit and get themselves hurt and thats the way it is.

Lots of great advice in here.

Some things that I have learnt through my years being around.

Life can be a pile of shit, if you stop shoveling it, it will bury you... Keep shoveling!

The answer is always no if you do not ask. Dance like nobody is watching. Listen to your gut instinct. Do things that make you smile. Help others when you can. Be the person little you would've looked up to. Be polite to others because sometimes we just dont know whats going on in their lives.

You aren’t going to love your job, so just focus on finding one you don’t hate everyday. You don’t need to like it, you just can’t hate it.

And I t’s a fucking job, you will hate it some days, you just can’t hate it everyday.

Coworkers that don't suck is 85% of having a job you don't hate.

Dont say "thats a lot of chocolate" to your girlfriend while at bulk barn. Thats why ill be alone, on ns, all night ronight

Throw your vapes in your mittens/gloves on the ride up because it heats the battery up. Also don't drink cold water while skiing/touring and also don't eat snow because it cools your insides down and you don't want that. Throw a thermas full of hot water in your pack in the morning and it'll also warm up your layers in your pack.
