me and my friend (KLD) built this over the past week due to skiing withdrawls, and we got 24ft by 2 ft piece of astro turf and plan to have some nice summer session with this and also use it durring winter, check it out.

and yea u do, check out mine, in my pics and vid. i havnt built a rail yet, but i just put some flexable boards (basicaly strong cardboard, very strong) that arnt nailed in but i put carpet on top so i dont slam into the ground and it kinda shoots u out

dude, you are going to eat shit when you go down that ramp. on my ramp its really steep just like that but at hte bottom i got some really thing wood and curved it so its a nice transition. also the paint is gonna come off in hte water/snow and your yard will be colors. that sounds fun

During the winter it will be ok in terms of steepness because the snow creates a natural transition. However, for summer put a piece of ply wood at the bottom and it will flex.

Mine is 6 feet tall, with 8 foot plywood going down on an angle, it's not that steep.

well the only thing thats wron with it is its a little too steep, when its that steep you will lose a lot of speed in the transition area and you cant put it as close to the rail because it will need more time because of the steepness
