They only work in IE. Some posted a while back that it would take too much effort to make them work for the 1% who don't use IE. No big deal.

 
For me, it's that they work in IE, but don't work in Compuserve, since that's my main other browser. My guess is that they wouldn't work in AOL either.

It would take much work to get them to work in Netscape. On sites in the past I always wrote cross browser drop downs. It's not much more than 10 lines of code. They work in Opera if you choose to have Opera be recognized as IE.

 
WEll Mozilla and Netscape are made by the same people, aren't they? Mozilla is pretty similar to Netscape but a whole load more stable.
