Driving finally on my own.

So i got my license yesterday, and today i drove without someone else in the car for the first time, and It just felt wierd ya know, like sumthing just wasnt there. has anyone else had that feeling when u drove for the first time? Just curious...
 
hahaha not yet but my road test is soon like less than 3 weeks away

so lucky. im supposed to get my license in 3 weeks, but i waited to get my temps. so i cant get them till january 27th, which in ohio is nearing the end of winter. hatin laws right now
 
dont drive after drinking, even if you just had a few. i just had afew and my license is gonna be suspended for 6 months minimum unless my lawyer really kicks some ass.
 
it felt weird for me too...as i sped off into the distance...and two years later after all that speeding i get a 150 dollar ticket by a statie. fucking hell.
 
We say that about my friends dad all the time. they try to pull him over all the time but he gets away. He said he'd sell his son for a bugatti. Its funny actually. We could see him flying down the street in one with his finger out the window the whole time and then have like all of dutchess county on his ass behind him
 
i fucked up the whole license thing so bad. i was and am still really slow on the process. i could've gotten it a year and a few months ago if i had gotten my permit when i turned 15. now i'm 17 and a few months with no license yet. but i wouldn't have car anyways. im saving up my money for an old awd subaru.

ive been driving for 10 years now. it totally loses its greatness after a while...especially if you're the one chauffering your friends all over the place.
 
Loses its greatness after about a month. Then it turns into a hassle and a money drain.
 
o man. i beg to differ completely. i love driving still. granted its only been 2 and a half years. its so much fun tho. im in college and i miss it so much.

Cars are the biggest waste of money ever...and yet we all need them.

Im sick of driving not because its the driving, its the assholes that dont know how to drive.
 
haha actually two of the assholes that pulled out in front of me this morning..on separate occassions were both women..one was asian and the other lady was just super old and looked like she was about to crook in a heartbeat
 
it didnt really feel any different. it was just cool cause i could listen to music as loud as i wanted and i didnt have my dad next to be freaking at every little thing i did wrong.
 
I just got my permit and my parents have been okay when I'm driving since I've been pretty quick to pick it up. at least better than my sister was, plus they already went through it with her so they aren't freaking out as much. I already can't wait until i can drive on my own.
 
yeah dude i remember that feeling, i got my year today. it won't feel that cool in a week trust me.
 
its nice at first but then after a while the novelty wears off and you realize you use a lot of gas and its alota $$$ to fill up. When you first drive by yourself its nice to be able to go where you want when you want and not even think about trying to find a ride and what not. driving to school by yourself for the first time is kind of weird too
 
I'm 16 and 7 months, and i failed the first time, because it was very hard, but the 2nd time around i ha a dif guy, so it was easier
 
i've put off driving for as long as humanly possible, now I have to get my liscence, not pleased. I'm 19 by the way. and I know how to drive very well, but just have never gotten around to taking the test.
 
I love driving. It hasn't become boring yet. Maybe it's because Los Angeles driving is often life threatening...

the first day i drove to school i hit someone...luckily it was only a love tap but it made me not speed for the rest of the day.
 
I remember driving in for finals for sophmore year, and being able to leave early. Then the summer kind of sucked, because I didn't have a car, and my parents didn't let me drive much. Now i have a ballin car, and I can drive whenever, and leave early every day. Think back, that felt like such a long time ago.
 
i once saw some old lady run a red light once. it was like seven seconds red. and she didnt even slow down. she was staring straight ahead completely zoning out. i t was hilarious.
 
yeahhh i had it for a while but after like a month i slid my moms car into a ditch, so now im too cautious to enjoy driving.
 
ha within 2 months of getting my liscense i lost it with one speeding ticket.  i also hit 145 like a week before, my friend ran from the cops a month after getting his, me and 2 other people have also run from the cops, my friend totalled his car, some chick flipped hers, and one kid "street racing" his moms piece of shit crashed through a fence some plants then into a house another friend of mine shot through a intersection on a red 2 times for fun almost getting hit.  doing doughnuts in our football fied totally fucking it up, plus alot of other shit, all within like a year and a half of getting our liscense.

we bought a shity 150 dollar car and drove it around one night fuking it up, driving up every curb we could find, medians, opening the doors at like 40 mph then hitting them against trees or poles so they slam shut, reversing with the doors open agaist a tree so the doors came off, driving around on rims on 3 wheels. jumping the shit out of it. then when it stopped running we  got golf clubs and shit and beat the crap out it and left it in the middle of a road..  so much shit happens to you and your friends between the ages of like 16 and 25 with driving its so awesome!

haha we did the same with this one truck, on the way to banch it we double fishtailed and hit a stop sign (totalllllllly fucked the car up, strong sign) almost going into multiple ditches, the when we got to banch it, there was a fucking BEAVER DAM in the way of the little river that usually there at about 3 inches deep, it was now 2 feet deep and we went 40 down the road into the dam and slammed it through then drove the car with no brakes through town, buying shit cars is so fun, also the kids who own the truck (football team) went to this one sandpit and a guy blocked it off with his truck and shot at them with a shot gun when they almost hit his car cause of the no brakes hahaah.
