i dont no all the ages your leggily aloud to do this stuff where u guyz live, but i live in quebec and u can drink at 18, and get your permit at 16, by the time u get your license its usaly around 17-18. Do you think this is a good idea to get these 2 privllages at the same time? are teenagers are days not responsible anouf? here are some statistics, if u go drive u have a 1/7 chance of crashing. if u drink and drive there is a 1/3 chance of crashing... is a lack in morals of are society to blame for this? i know theres lots of qustions, but thats cuz theres so many probilms... just a little debate topic..

In Colorado you can get a learning driving permit at 15.5, and your liscense at 16. You can't drink until you're 21. You can see NC-17 movies at 17, and buy cigarettes and porn at 18.

For my real answer: I think that teenagers around here are not responsible enough to drive. I know I totalled a car when I was 16 because I was being stupid.

I think that it would make more sense for kids to be allowed to drink before they can drive. That way they know how much they can handle and how thier body reacts to alcohol before they try and combine that with driving.

 
In Australia you can get a learners permit and 16, your provisional license at 17. You can drink, go to clubs and bars, buy cigarettes and vote at 18 (all the legal stuff). You can legally have sex at 16 if you're a girl, but you have to be 18 to be a guy and have sex. Silly rule!

But yeah, up until you're 25 your blood alcohol limit has to be 0.02 until you're 25, so you can't drink anyways.

My friend got a DUI when he was 15....people who drive drunk are dumb. Driving stoned is totally different, i don't think i do that bad when i'm high.

Basiclly in the U.S.A. every state sets its own Driveing age and its own Drinking age but the House blackmails the state because if they lower the ages below 16 and 21 then the state doesnt get any funding for roads and then the state has to take money from their own pockets and they dont want to do it so thats while everystate is at least 16 or older for driveing and 21 or older for drinking.

Well, the thing is when your drunk u are an ideot, so u dont relize how stupid your being by driving.. evry ones like 'it wont happen to me.. lalala' it comes down to your friends, they should not let u get into a car drunk no matter what... and i think a big probel is teens can do whatever they want, they have no limits these days, theres alwase a party to go to, theres alwase beer to drink and no one is steping in and saying that its going to far.... the world has some big ass probilms

 
drinking sge should be 19 cuz then your outta high school and won't do as much dumb shit as before, and cuz when your at college people are gonna drink so why not just make it legal. The driving age is fine at 16, except for a lot of girls who can't drive and run into shit!

21 is bloody ridiculous for a drinking age. It is pretty stupid to be able to go and fight for you country in a war, get married, have sex, see r18 movies, enter into a contract etc but not be able to have a drink.

Thank god its 18 in New Zealand.

If it was legal to drink when you were still in high school there would be tons of problems. Or maybe if they made it so everyone could drink cause thats what it in Europe and I never hear about problems. Probably cause i'm from the U.S. In Michigan you get your learners permit at 14 9 months and a restricted (you can't drive from midnight to 5 am) license at 16 and a full license at 17 or 18. You can't drink til your 21.

There is nothing motherly about mother nature. Except for her big mountainous breasts.
 
drinking ages only stop you from buying alcohol and going to bars/clubs and shit. its not like everyone doesnt go out and get wasted anyway
