How much do you have to pay to get a drivers license in America? Including everything i have to do, like classes and stuff. And what do i have to do? I know i can save around 5000 dollars if i get it over there instead of doing it here in expencive Norway.

in canada its like 150 for g1, 500 for classes, thne another like 200 for g2 i think

i did mine a while ago so i dont remember

The drivers test or the license?

My license cost me about $20 bucks, the test was around $300. However the cost for drivers ed depends on where you get learned. The ballpark for most places is $150-300.

im 17 and have had my liscence since like january (turned 17 in march), and i drive whenever i go to the states. so i im pretty sure ur G2 lets u drive in the states, at least i havent been stopped yet haha

In Bulgaria it varies alot. It all depends on what type of car you have your classes in. For a crappy 20 year old Lada its about $300 and for a 2006 Subaru Impreza WRZ its around $500.

fo me it was 150 for classes, 360 for behind the wheel, and the driving test itself was 20, and i think the liscence itself was 120

Drivers license was $20 and the class was free since it was through my school. Otherwise it'd be the same is his.

By the way I was confused as shit trying to figure out when I posted in this thread cuz I saw my icon and assumed it was me.

i paid about 350 for drivers ed. then 40 for the test and i think it was 15 for the actual license.

if you are under 18 in maine though, you have to drive 40 hours with someone befor you take your test.

washington.

300 for drivers ed class

20 for test

another 20 i failed....

25 for the license

so 365.... give or take like 50.

how old are you?

in Colorado, if you are over 18 you just have to go to the DMV and pass the driving demonstration test, where you drive for like 2 miles with a DMV worker. I think the entire process costs maybe $20

i', 17, but i'll turn 18 while i'm over there. I don't know which state i'm going too, but i'm really hoping it will be colorado!

I knew a Norwegian that got her license in texas, then moved back to norway. Saved a lot of money, getting that shit in norway is expensive. you have to get winter lessons too.

Yeah if you're over 18 you don't have to take driver's ed or anything. just go onto the dmv website for whatever state you're visiting and look it up.

yeah, it sucks... winter driving, long trip driving, night time driving, slippery road driving... and that is just the extras. I still need at least 14 hours with a teacher, and each one of those lessons costs 100 bucks. How are we supposed to afford cars and shit when we spend all our money just for being allowed to drive...

drivers ed in maine is $400-425 and that includes class, driving time, and your permit

then you just drive around with your permit for six months, make up some hours on your driving log (must be 35+ hours with 5+ hours of night driving) and then send out for your license.

i just did all of that and go for my license on wednesday...

as far as i know yes most states. cuz here each state has different driving laws regarding age you can havve a license to drive. for example maryland its 16 and 3 months. so if your older then that yeah your good to go.. in maryland. but sya in california the driving age requiered to hold a LICENSE is 18 youlll be in doody.
