Drive from Salt Lake City to Park City

How long does it take to drive from SLC to Park City?

I am looking at going to school at University of Utah in SLC next year as a possibility. Any info on the area plus the city would also be good. What are other resorts that are close by.

Close resorts are snowbird, alta, brighton, solitude, park city, canyons, and deer valley. I recomend alta PC and snowbird for the most fun but the drive from SLC can depend on weather traffic etc but generally around 20-30 minutes

I am from SLC and the drive is about 30-40 minutes depending on conditions. If you live in SLC you have 7 resorts within 40 minutes.

Snowbird-20 Min
Alta-25 MIn.
Solitude-30 MIn
Brighton-35 MIn.
The Canyons-40 MIn.
Deer Valley-40 MIn.
Park City-40 Min.

Salt Lake is the dopest place on the planet but keep it quiet, we don't want the masses figuring it out.

20 min. on the freeway from SLC (like Sugarhouse or Foothill) to Kimball Junction, probably more like 40 min. if you're talking the U to the resort.

Arguably the best skiing in the nation under an hour away. You'll shit yourself when you realize how many resorts and big mountain skiing you'll have access to. Then when you return home, you'll realize that you're in the Utah and no matter how great the skiing is, it's still Utah. I should have move to the Cottonwoods or Park City....Ogden is brutal.

Enjoy the winters, travel the summers, it'll keep you sane.

You got that backwards mang.

PC/Canyons/Deer valley- 20-30mins

Snowbird/Alta/Solitude/Brighton- 30-40mins.

Making it to PC in 25 mins isn't rare, its like 10-15 mins on the freeway if you don't drive like a pussy. (aka driving 80-85) Only takes about 20 mins to get to the base of BCC and 25 to LCC but the canyons take 15-20 mins to drive up.

My times were from the U. Little faster from westmini. Its like 5 mins to the freeway, 10-15 on the freeway, another 5-10 to the base (to PC).

to get from slc to park city takes longer than 20 minutes try 30 minutes minimum, and if it's snowing way longer

Will you all please stop telling everyone about Utah's conditions. The less of them, the more for you!!!! Thank You kindly, MGMT

its really pretty close but 15 isnt realistic, its like 5 from the university then 15 to the turn for pc then like another 10 to the actual resort. its not very far at all though. but dont come here, theres to many mormons.

yeah haha..thats classic..as if it is that hard to find out what conditions are like. plus you aren't telling "THEM" you are telling US..i personally try to hook other freestyle skiers up with info since I want to see the sport grow more and more

It takes me 35-40 minutes to get to the base of PC on a sunny day(live in Bountiful)...some of you people must drive slow. Or I drive too fast hahahaha
