Drinking with a concussion?

i had a rugby game today and i have a mild concussion i think, i was just cleared from my last one yesterday ( i didnt get knocked out though) is it bad if i have like 1 or 2 beers?
 
seriously? I don;t think it would matter unless you got plastered and passed out and hit your head again or something rad like that.
 
dude, i got a concussion a few months ago and they said if i got another one, i would potentially have serious brain damage. u might wanna go to the doctors, caus it could be problematic. altho my concussion was a serious one, a bike hit me in the back of the head, that sucked.
 
word^ its probably a bad idea...especially if you just got over a previous concussion. 1 or 2 beers can wait until you're fully healed
 
just dont do it. i think you can wait a couple weeks... this is your brain we're talking about here. oh actually, what am i talking about... guys think with their dicks so.. you're fine. nevermind!

it was a joke. guys don't think with their heads. hence, its fine if he drinks, he wont be messing anything up.

wait up, you were cleared from concussion yesterday, and then slightly concussed again today?

Thats really bad man, how long ago were you concussed the last time?

When you get KO'd it means your brain has taken a significant hit, it takes 2-3 weeks to heal (the first time anyway)

If you get concussed more than 3 times in your life it will increase your chances of aquiring brain problems later on. Like Ali.

Take 2 weeks off from rugby and definately invest in a helmet!
 
Stop being such a pussy. It is isn't a big deal if you drink with a concussion. Don't listen to that faggotty doctor, 4 years of med school just turned him into a bitch. A little whiskey can cure any broken synapses.

But seriously, it's fine. All these 16 year old are spouting bullshit. Nothing will happen, you will get drunk. The end.

How many of you kids have ever actually drank with a concussion? 2 weeks? really? What are you in 8th grade? I haven't went 2 weeks with drinking in 6 years, concussions and all. Look at me, I still kick ass.

I never said dont drink for 2 weeks, i said dont play contact sport, especially rugby because your at a much higher risk of getting concussed while your head/brain is recovering.

Anyway, i agree he would of been fine, if he was geniunely concussed the last thing on your mind would be alcohol...
 
Ive gotten a pretty gnarly concussion and ended up drinkin a lot a few nights later.....sooo i say its up to u...but im fine
i think so anyways....
 
This post made me want to stand up and cheer "Yeah!" - haha. But I also think you meant *I haven't went 2 weeks without drinking in 6 years*. But you still kick ass.
