The holiday season is coming back around, and I'm looking for good drink recipes. Emphasis on the alcoholic drinks from the older crowd but whats good is good.

My favorite is "Apple Pie." I'm sure some of you have tried it but for those who havent, the recipe:

You'll need 1 gallon of apple juice, 1 gallon of apple cider, 1 fifth of everclear, 7 or 8 cinnamon sticks, and 4 cups of sugar. (obviously can be portioned down, this is for a lot of drink)

First you put the juice, cider, sugar and cinnamon sticks into

a pot and heat it until right before it comes to a boil. Once its nice and hot take it off the stove and add the Everclear. Let it cool down a little bit and its ready to drink hot or cold, enjoy!

Anyways...post those recipes up!

I'm really looking for a good eggnog recipe if anyone has one.

I'd go with this, mix to preference, i go 2 shots of lady bligh (it works better then captain and its cheaper) and then i go about 3 times as much vernors. Tastes just like a god damn creamsicle

haha yea, i usually buy the 2 liter of vernors, when i mix it i use the entire 2 liter and about 2/3 of the bottle, then do shots of the rest. Coke and jake never gets old haha
 
for the college crowd with cheap vodka (bankers, vladdy, burnetts) pour three shots in a party cup and mix in a packet of fruit punch crystal light. fill to the top with orange juice. enjoy not tasting the awful vodka in your drink.
for the college crowd with cheap rummix 2-3 shots with hot or cold apple cider and enjoy.
and for myself, i just got ahold of a fifth of mango moonshine. 90 proof. 4 shots that go down like a spoonful of sugar will get anyone pretty shitty. i dont even have to mix that shit its so good.
 
love moonshine soo much! gonna try some of these this weekend. my ex's grandma use to make apple pie moonshine. shit got ya drunk!
 
when i was over in England a couple years ago my uncle made this hot ginger drink, it was so fucking good, ill try get the recipe.

it wasn't alcoholic but you could easily add some
 
straight shots kids. and then chase that shit with beer.
but on the real side never just add the powder mix to a drink. If all you add is the powder, it becomes super thick, and is damn near impossible to drink.
as for recipes usually any fruit drink+alcohol is tasty. If you have a blender adding some ice-t, ice, alcohol, and orange juice tastes really good.
the breakdown would prolly be 35% alcohol, 50% ice t, and 15% orange juice.

once you're out of kahlua, switch to something

vodka and creamer is just a bad idea
 
oh my god i love apple pie moonshine so much.
the guy who's cabin is relatively close to ours has his own pot still and makes straight shine, apple pie, mango, and wild cherry. the apple pie is by far the best.
and to whoever said it will make you blind thats only if its made wrong by someone inexperienced and it has methanol in it. otherwise its just ethanol and youre no more likely to go blind than drinking any other liquor.
 
My personal creation is called the Royal Rumbull

1 part crown royal

1 part rum

2 parts redbull

Tastes like ass, but has a wicked awesome name.
 
I'm not sure of the measurements, but I had the best cocktail the other night. it was ginger-infused vodka with grapefruit and cilantro. soooo good.
 
-traffic light

1/3 oz jalapeño juice

1/3 oz tequila

1/3 oz Tabasco sauce

-krazy karl

3 oz vodka

2 oz dill pickle juice

-slick and sleezy

1 oz vodka

1 oz salsa

-saladtosser

1 oz vodka

1 oz tequila

1 oz A-1 steak sauce

dash of chocolate syrup

those should give you a good weekend..
 
haha i hear that. i usually rock milk in mine anyways so i dont drink a shit ton of cream when i have more than a few
 
The Manhattan

3 oz of Whiskey (I'm fond of Bourbon's like Knob Creek)

1 oz of Martin and Rossi Vermouth

2-3 dashes of Bitters

Add ice to cocktail shaker, then bitters, then vermouth, then whiskey. Swirl, don't shake as it will bruise the spirits, until the outside frosts up (10-20 secs) and strain into glass. Add cherry if around.

 
For the ladies,

Tropical Breeze

2 parts coconut parrot bay

3 parts cranberry

3 parts fresh pineapple juice

A drink for men

JaggerWrong (sort of like jagger bomb)

1 Shot Jager

Half 12 oz cup of malt liquor

Half 12 oz cup of Monster Energy ( or any energy drink)

 
I cant believe no one has mention jagerbombs (so good!) or Long island Iced tea. I supposed if you weren't trying to get smashed you could go for hot chocolate and peppermint schnapps. (1/3 schnapps 2/3 hot chocolate)

I would take a look at TipsyBartender or Skyyjohn Bartalk on Youtube, he has some good drinks on there as well.

tic tac= orange vodka and redbull. tastes exactly like an orange tic tac. so tasty
tequila and tabasco= gnarly birthday shots
 
Skittles vodka.
separate skittles into colors, separate vodka into 5 different bottles. but the different colors into each different bottle. let it settle. vodka will change to the skittles color. funnel the skittle itself out after its done desolving
 
How has no one said TDM?

One bottle of Alcool, or everclear or whatever it's called near you(94.9 percent ABV)

2 decent sized bottles of gatorade, 2 big cans of redbull

all in a camelback. gets diluted to slightly above regular vodka, gets you pretty fucked up, and tastes soooooo good.
 
me and my boys always go to the bar and get a pbr on tap, a duckfart after the beer, and then a grateful dead for the walk home. its a great way to pregame.
 
Dark and stormy:
Dark Rum (spiced rum can work really well e.g. Sailor Jerry's)Ginger BeerSlice of lime (give it a bit of a squeeze too)A few drops of Angostura Bitters (optional but just trust me and try it, especially if you're not using a spiced rum)
Easy and really tasty
 
Get a book or google it. Or ask somebody. Have the people on ns are 14 anyway. Nobody has extensive knowledge of drinks. I keep it simple still, captain and coke unless I feel like mixing it up. Really though, these threads have come up enough.

Just google different drinks, ask people for drink ideas. Do you really want to have a bunch of wasted 12 years olds trying to mix complex drinks anyway?

yea just google it, I'm sure sifting through 100,000 drink recipes would be fun.

you guys need to get bent, these are the kinds of threads that make up non-ski gabber, you could google everything that's been posted in the past 10 years

 
there are plenty of people over age 14 on this site. also, it makes sense to make a thread asking for good suggestions (as you said, "ask somebody." he just asked a lot of people)

My friends did this over last weekend, it's gets you pretty drunk.-1 fifth cheap vodka- bunch of beer- liter of lemon lime soda- some lime or lemon juice
Mix it in a gatorade container and bam. You just gotta cover up the taste of alcohol and you'll be drunk before you know it.
I know it sounds gross, that's what I thought at first till I tried it.
 
step 1. get a slushy machine

step 2. pour a 40 of cheep vodka in

step 3. pour in 1 liter of mtn dew.

step 4. add 1 liter of orange Hawaiian punch.

step 5. let it become slushyy

step 6. try to stand up in an hour
