i love how i make a comment saying i need to not drink and drive and now i suck. i bet i suck so much that I'm 18 and created a company called bags for rags and for every chalk bag i sell i donate profits to kids in need, right? i suckkkkk for volunteering hours at habitat for humanity every weekend and for flying back east to help rebuild homes after hurricane irene.

What happens when one day, you drive drunk and hit one of those same kids you donate money for? Or anyone for that matter? Stupid people being stupid are fine with me, its natural selection. But when you put other people in danger and they have no control over it, thats just ignorant. I have no respect for people like you. No matter how much good you do in the world, its the same for that mom who just had the police come to her door to say her kid was killed by a drunk driver.

^^ Agree completely. Trust me one day you will get caught too, it's not worth it. Be a fucking adult and do not drink and drive, or just dont drink and be dd.
Take it from someone who as been arrested for it, worst decision I have ever made and it has really fucked my head up. (Even though I didnt harm anyone) The fact that I could have is just as bad.

Depends where you live.
I would never drive drunk anywhere with cops. Just not worth it. You'll def get stopped at some point, even if it's for nothing. I've been stopped so many times at night sober for nothing because "bullshit reason" aka they just wanna see if I'm drunk or my car smells like weed.

So you would drink in drive if you knew there was no cops around. Fucking idiot. The reason you dont fucking drink and drive is because you could kill somebody, not because you dont want to get arrested.

Well good, lets hope you stick to your words. People get up in arms about someone who will fully admit that they drink and drive. We all know its stupid, and selfish. Its kinda shitty that someone would make the choice to endanger others. So good for you in admitting you'll make the better choice from now on.
What about all the shitty drivers. What about the girl driving down the shoulder cause she's stupid. What about the dumbass weaving on his cellphone. What about the people that drop something and stare at the ground until they find it while doing 60 down the fucking road.

Drinking and driving as a rule should be avoided if possible. That's just smart. But I just fucking hate when all these people assume that if you've had a couple beers you are a terrible hazard on the road.

the good things you've done aren't relevant once you get behind the wheel after drinking. you put yourself and others in danger, simple as that. i'm not saying you're a bad person, just think twice. if you drink too much don't drive, but under the legal limit is acceptable. thats all i have to say

I was drifting down the road, I was doing 120 in my moms mini van, I raced a friend, shit like that. That's all good, but if somebody has a couple beers, drives like a fucking saint, stops at stop sings, they'll still jump on the band wagon lynch mob and bitch you out as being a terrible person.
I'm not saying it's good to drink and drive, I'm just saying that if you look at it from a different perspective this whole crusade on here is kind of fucked.
When was the last time somebody took there keys from their friend because he's a terrible driver. I doubt that shit even happens really. If he's a shitty driver he's a fucking death machine rolling down the road and everyone could be at risk. that's no big deal though. We make jokes about that shit.

i feel as though most people who jump on the bandwagon and badmouth drinking and driving aren't old enough to drive, let alone drink.
there is a big difference between being too drunk to drive, and being over the DUI limit.
i for one know that when i drive drunk, i am a much more cautious driver. i don't drink and drive through town, or anywhere cops might be for the most part. learning to take the back roads is a great thing. i know i sure as fuck don't want to wreck my car, i love it and would want to kill myself if i knew i wrecked from driving too fast drunk or whatever the case...
driving 20mph on some backroad after leaving the bar/party whatever where you don't pass another car until you get home should not be a fucking crime. of course you have the macho bros who want to show off in their sick mustang and end up crashing doing 120 while wasted, and i will agree that those people are completely irresponsible and beyond selfish to do such things.
oh and just because a "buzzed" driver was in an accident, doesn't mean it was their fault. usually yes, but assuming is never the correct thing to do.
fuck this i'm sick of typing idk if this even makes sense but, moral of the story is drinking and driving isn't a big deal when handled responsibly.

While I know most of your kids don't even have cars, I bet your parents have probably driven over the limit with you in the car after going out to eat or something. For those of you that do drive how many times have you answered your cell phone or even worse sent a text message while driving? I bet I'm a better driver with 5 (probably even 6 or 7) beers in me than you are texting behind the wheel.
There's a point that which you know your not capable of safely operating a vehicle. People die when drivers people fail to understand their own limits.
Still even though I know I'm a capable to drive home after 5 beers at the bar without endangering anyone's life (knowing the roads well also factors in), I don't do it anymore because I simply cannot afford the ticket.
